Demeures de campagne Domaine de Maffliers – Novotel

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our holiday so we could spend a couple of days in Paris. We arrived at 9.30pm, after a long drive, the welcome & information we received at check in was perfect. We had a family room for the 4 of us, with a double bed & a double sofa bed for the children, which was spotless with a modern bathroom a lovely big shower, although my husband struggled slightly with the height of the shower head but then he's 6'2 so that's not unusual! We ate in the restaurant after checking in, which is a very short walk from the accommodation block to the main chateau building, & despite our lateness, the food & service was excellent. We walked to the train station each morning which was a pleasant 1 mile walk from the hotel. There is a car park across the road from the station but the height restriction for vehicles is 1.8 metres, but we enjoyed the walk which took less than 20 minutes. Trains leave the station every 15 minutes & cost €5 return, taking between 20 & 30 minutes to reach Gare du Nord depending on the number of stops. Overall our stay at the hotel was excellent value for money & we will definitely be using this as our stop over again next year.

Loved this hotel set away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Beautiful surroundings and friendly staff. Breakfast was fantastic and set us up for the day! Pool was a little small but good enough for a splash around with the kids and there was table tennis and badminton available, too. We would definitely stay again.

Just a little bit to away from everything but the hotel and staff were fantastic. When we couldn't get a taxi they took us and picked us up but would not accept anything for doing it.

Even though I try to avoid chain hotels this was the perfect place to stay as we had family members to drop off at the airport. It's proximity to the airport was helpful and the tranquil setting was most enjoyable. The grounds are beautiful. We did not have the chance to make use of the amenities, but the swimming pool and tennis courts are a plus.

Surprisingly located hotel, up a small road which opens out to a large but not too big hotel complex. I cannot praise the hotel staff highly enough for sorting out some problems we had (not with the hotel or stay) The grounds are nicely laid out and there are plenty of complimentary activities to keep you engaged. You'll be pleasantly surprised by this hotel given it's pricing on this website. Note... We have also booked and used this hotel not through this website and it's much dearer that way.

The hotel area is very nice -- with a chateau on premises. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel has good recreational facilities -- ping-pong table, pool table, computer games. There are no restaurants/cafes nearby. However, the hotel's restaurant seemed quite good. Unfortunately, we didn't have an opportunity to try it out.

My family and I we a really good time it was exacly that we were expecting. The view outdoor the hotel fantastic and the diferents sports that u can do is excelent!

It was wonderful surprise! What a nice place to stay! I would strongly recommend this hotel for everyone!!!
