Radisson Blu Hotel, London Heathrow

Pros - Really pleasant rooms with useful amenities - fridge, kettle etc all included. - Very comfortable beds - Relatively little aircraft noise despite the proximity to Heathrow. - Car park is huge - more than enough space for hotel guests. - Drive time to Heathrow T2 or T3 is approximately 10 mins in good traffic. Cons - Nothing to speak of. Stayed here as part of a parking and hotel package before a morning flight, and it worked out very nicely. Hotel itself is quite grand inside, and doubles up as a wedding venue so it’s far from a bland hotel. Rooms are kitted out to a high standard and for an overnight stay before a flight, I really can’t fault it. Only slight issue I had was upon return, the car park barriers wouldn’t open despite parking being paid, but reception sorted that out within minutes. Travel information. - Although there is a hotel shuttle bus to the terminals, I opted to take an Uber for speed and convenience. Due to the high drop off charges, the cost is now exorbitant - between £17 and £30 to essentially drive you up the road. If time allows - cross the road and take one of the local London buses. They run every 5-10 minutes for £1.75 and take around 10 mins to get to Heathrow central bus station. The Hotel Hoppa service is a reasonable option if you don’t want to cross the road, but it’s slow and infrequent. - The above isn’t a complaint per se, but if you want to get to the terminals, either use the local buses, or factor in anywhere between £35-50 for a return taxi fare to the airport. The above isn’t a reflection on the hotel, just the logistics of getting to Heathrow itself, so I’d certainly recommend this hotel and I’d gladly stay here again.

Excellent staff the hotel has free charging facilities for non Tesla cars only 7kw but my car charged overnight fine Upgraded to a better room but the adjoining room was extremely noisy so they relocated us quickly with no fuss to a quieter room no fault of the hotel dealt with very well Great location for Heathrow airport only minutes away with Uber

Good food and Christina looked after me. Ribeye was nice & pravha is heavy. Back again next week and will try the lamb, which was looking immense.

Had room service was good but absolutely ridiculously priced 1 small starter a salad side and a desert 48 £ They added service to this that and the other ? Not good.I stayed at this hotel last night . I asked specifically for a quiet room as I suffer from insomnia badly. Got a nice room however my whole stay was ruined by the maids trying to get into my room 3 times in the early hours !! No knock they just tried to get in apologized then did it twice again! The last time I shouted get out! ! At 7.55 am! Then 7.59 then at 8 am I mean what kind of hotel is this! Not only was this highly upsetting but it ruined my sleep which I specifically said is a massive issue for me. I went to the desk before breakfast to complain as this is not on especially as this supposed caliber of hotel.The man called cleaning and then I was told to go relax and so sorry that was it?! I mean no I’ll give you a discount for this high disturbance of sleep and inconvenience or nothing! I was gonna stay here end of February again when I travel but now I won’t and I won’t recommend this place either! You as a hotel failed and not only that you didn’t try to rectify the situation to make your client happy. .

I'm was made to feel very welcome by Elvis on the front desk and he was very professional and incredibly friendly He is a credit to the hotel and it is a pleasure to recognise his efforts

first of all, totally different situation for the restaurant and the rooms. The restaurant and open area is I would say are pretty nice and I had no major complaints overall found them pleasant. But the rooms are in desperate need of renovation. I mean, they are decades old I tried two separate rooms and the second one which was supposedly an upgrade had terrible furniture. There were even mold spots on the art in the room. Worn and dirty carpet, damaged furniture, etc. I went back to the first room, which was extremely far away from everything you essentially go on a giant circle around the hotel but it’s on the second floor so there is no way to get back down to the lobby without walking very far. I did not choose to stay here, but rather was booked there due to a flight delay that required overnight accommodation so it was booked through the airlines. I just wish that they would renovate their rooms and then it would be a good option near the airport.

Had a two night stay between flights to have as a base to visit London city. Had lunch and dinner in the restaurant, staff member Stelian was fantastic, he really made our visit great. They were out of quite a few food/drink options as menu was changing, pizza tasted like a frozen one reheated, was really terrible. Caesar salad was excellent. Dinner we just ordered the hot brie share plate and fries. Cheese was excellent and fries were barely warm. Wine was excellent. Just so crazy expensive, burger and chips is 25 UK Pounds. Room was clean, shower was in a very narrow high bath so not advisable for those not so steady. We were told there was a free shuttle bus to the airport at 6:02am but we were charged 13 UK Pounds each just FYI and it arrived at 6:45am.
