Hotel Arts Kensington

Great hotel except one thing which prevented sleeping - the noise from the in house commercial laundry machines which operate late into night and early morning was. Unfortunately it was so bad it prevented sleeping.

The room was nice and clean but it was a bit noisy at night from outside and inside the hotel

We truly enjoyed our stay at Kensington Hotel which is located in a quiet residential area of Calgary next to the Bow river. The property definitely has It's charm unlike many other hotels. The service was good and all employees were polite and helpful. Our only complaint is about breakfast selection. There were not many options and quantities were very limited. If you get up a little later and come towards the end of the breakfast time, be ready to see some things completely gone. That was a little disappointing. But everything else was top notch, we really loved our luxury suite with a fireplace and cute little balcony.

Front desk staff person was very kind and helpful. Our only disappointment was that we thought we'd be assigned to a king bed room, but one was not available.

The personable staff kept the boutique ambiance of the hotel. Only issues were very slow hot water and noisy plumbing.
