Hotel Bernat II

We had a great holiday in Calella and enjoyed staying at Hotel Bernat 11. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Our 7 year old daughter loved the mini disco every evening which was followed by an hour's entertainment. The food in the hotel was delicious and there was a good variety every evening. Drinks at the hotel bar were not over priced either. Our rooms were cleaned every day. Perhaps tea/ coffee making facilities would have been welcomed in our room and an iron. Apart from that I would highly recommend this hotel for a family holiday.

parking the car is a problem , too far , not convenient in strong rain an when a man has walking difficulties like in my case .

A very nice short break (5 days) on 1/2 board. Drinks not too expensive. Lovely Spa of which I used every day (1st day included in the price) Spa could do with some lounges. Outdoor pool is medium sized. No night life on when I stayed (end of Sept). Corridors near my room were noisy on a night with gangs of German teenagers!

over all it was a nice hotel friendly staff clean rooms air con could of done with up dating & there is a lot of kids & the pool is quite small

The beds are not very safe - it is easy to run into it and hurt your toes. Otherwise, nice hotel with really good food and excellent staff.

Had a fabulous stay with my daughters, great food and friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended.

The hotel is a great base for a stay in Calella. The all inclusive was ok- the food wasn't great although neither of us eat fish and there was a lot of fish on offer. We liked it for the steady flow of drinks. The bar stocked a good selection of alcohol(not all inclusive) and were generous with pouring them! The pool area was spotless and we always got a subbed although the pool is small. People seem to come and go a lot, it wasn't a problem getting a bed at any point! The location was great. Short walk to the busy centre with lots of nice restaurants and some bars. Also very close to the beach, with discounts on sun beds/parasols and drinks at the BK beach club. There is a little shop just next to the hotel run by a very nice man and his partner, ideal to pick up snacks and water for your room plus lilos etc. The rooms were small but cleaned every day. There was a mini fridge and we were impressed that when we arrived at 10pm they had prepared some sandwiches, fruit, yoghurt and water for us. We didn't hear a sound from anyone in the rooms above/below us or next to us either. We received 1hr free in the spa which was lovely, very relaxing! Overall we had a great stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone planning a stay in Calella!

The hotel is a minutes walk to a fabulous beach. The hotel itself is friendly and stylish and made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We went for the all inclusive deal which was excellent. The food was plentiful and care was taken to offer a variety of menus. A lovely dining room and stylish interior to the hotel and rooms. I will go back again.

Fantastic hotel, close to the beach and all amenities. Very clean and the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and also calella to friends and family and will definitely return
