The Papandayan

The staff was exceptionally hospitable and helpful. We booked for 2 rooms, and got different floors. Apparently, the 2 rooms were different room categories. The receptionists were super friendly and upgraded one of our rooms so we could be on the same floor with connecting rooms. The service was exceptional, and we are happy with our stay! Will definitely come back soon and try the breakfast!

Unfortunately, my parents got sick in the morning, and we asked for a late check out, but the receptionists were super nice and gave us 30 mins extra checkout time.. would be nice if there's an option for it, we would love to pay extra for a couple of hours for late check out. But otherwise, the service was nice!

Hotel has a great vibe. It’s near the center but not strictly In the center so you can get quickly from train station whole area is quieter Great spa Great selection for breakfast

Das Frühstück, ist abwechslungsreich, eher Asiatisch. Für Europäer ist die Auswahl eher bescheiden wie wir Frühstück kennen. Das Essen im Hotel wie das Personal ist ausgezeichnet, wie die Sauberkeit im ganzen Hause. Wir kommen wieder trotz der schlechten Erfahrung am ersten Morgen.

Das Frühstück am Sonntag war eine kleine Katastrophe, leider war es so überfüllt das unsere Familie einen Tisch am Pool bekam, nicht eingedeckt und zu wenig Stühle, leider hat sich die Dame die sich darum kümmern wollte nicht mehr blicken lassen. Dies war eine sehr negative Erfahrung und wir mussten um Stühle Gedecke ect. Uns selbst kümmern was bei diesem Chaos an Menschenmenge eine Herausforderung war und dadurch das Frühstück eine Katastrophe. Am selben Tag haben wir noch reklamiert und Montag hat es geklappt, auffallend war das es an diesem Tag massiv weniger Gäste im Hotel hatte.

Ik werd bij binnenkomst meteen goed opgevangen door de manager Lusi en haar collega. De kamer was erg ruim en voldeed aan alle verwachtingen. Het ontbijt was erg goed en zeer uitgebreid. Het zwembad is ook uitstekend. Ik kon hier elke ochtend heerlijk baantjes zwemmen. Ik raad iedereen aan om ook de Sundanese of de Hot Stone Massage te nemen. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Iedereen kent je na 1 dag bij naam en op iedere vraag was een antwoord of oplossing. Mijn complimenten voor Lusi. Zij heeft mij tijdens de vakantie erg goed begeleid en gaf goed advies over de mooiste plekken van Bandung. Lusi is onmisbaar voor het hotel. Dit was ook de mooiste vakantie van mijn leven. Ik geef dit hotel maar liefst 6 sterren en ben zeker van plan om terug te komen bij dit hotel. :D

Beautiful decor and wonderful staff. I particularly liked the outside dining area and the poolside bar. The downstairs garden with waterfalls is also a beautiful oasis of calm. Our room was impeccably clean and had plenty of space. I appreciated the desk as I had a lot of work to do while I was there.

It’s a small thing but I found it disconcerting to have to ask for my buffet breakfast selection, rather than just choose my own breakfast.
