"Breathtaking views of the East Coast of Barbados"

10.0

This is our second stay here. The view is really breathtaking. It is a quiet part of the island unless you include the frogs and the ocean waves. The staff are warm and welcoming. They are very helpful. I believe the majority of the staff are the same as when we visited last. I think speaks well of the hotel environment. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner. She is very friendly and we really enjoyed our opportunity to chat over cocktails. Because of the intimate environment you can strike up a conversation with fellow guests should you choose. The public and private buses run regularly to other parts of the island if you want to save money on cab fare or the young man that the hotel uses is very friendly and professional and reasonably priced as well!

"Good place to relax"

8.0

We enjoyed our stay, nice rooms and good breakfast. It is a lovely quiet part of the island and we enjoyed relaxing in the gardens. It is near to Andromeda botanical gardens which are wonderful. Only down side is there is no pool, no flat ground to put one on, and you can't swim in the sea.

"Relax and Recharge"

10.0

We had our every wish fulfilled for a relaxing retreat to recharge our spirits and SeaU did not disappoint! The staff took great care to see you were enjoying your experience and we appreciated the homecooked meals with a very personal touch. I don't think we've had a better nights sleep with the soothing breeze and constant waves. We never missed the tv and it seemed time stood still for a while. All the locals were friendly as well and would stop to wave, say hello and ask how our visit was going, very proud of their island.

"small and intimate guest house"

10.0

The guest house has only a few rooms, which are generous in size. They are ranged within different buildings set in palm shaded grounds, well within sight - and sound - of the Atlantic coast. There is easy access to Bathsheba, and to the coastal path, with a bus stop a short walk away. The staff are courteous and helpful, but discrete which means that whilst you know they are there you feel you can take your holiday in your own space, at your own pace. Breakfast on the terrace, as the sun comes over the horizon with the small birds and hotel cat in attendance, then I would recommend you do take advantage of the dinner available at least on some evenings. Well cooked, local fare.

"A special place"

10.0

A stay at the Sea-U gives you a completely different experience of Barbados compared with the upmarket glitz of the west coast and the all-inclusive fun of the south coast. The island's east coast, and Bathsheba in particular, is wild and unspoilt and Sea-U fits perfectly into this ambiance with its traditionally built wooden buildings and relaxed atmosphere.
