It was luxurious and the decoration and food was really good and quite place

Didn't offer any toast with breakfast. Do you have to ask for it these days?

The property is inundated with toxic black mold. Unable to breathe indoors. Broke out in full body hives and had to leave the premises after 2 hours. They told me “they disguise the smell of the toxic black mold with scented diffusers”. Dangerous for anyone who is immunocompromised like myself

Staff, were exceptional. Views from the dining room were fantastic

Heating, this is a cold place, at breakfast we had extra heaters strategically placed, we sat in our coats in the public areas the corridors were cold. Distance, our room was not just a long way from the reception it was so complicated to find. Plugs, the room didn’t have enough plugs to run the kettle and the coffee maker at the same time. There was an inadequate number of USB ports with easy access some we used we needed to crawl on the floor to access. Price, didn’t related to the overall quality of the overall experience, too high. We had just returned Vienna where we stayed in a better hotel for half the price. Menu, single experience ordered a Whole Duck, presented with three slices of breast. When considering my choice I was concerned with how I might portion a whole duck. It’s quite obviously a “modern” chefs way of portion to cost management. I did mention this to the waiter who made light of the matter. We tried other local restaurants ate at the Complete Angler where we ate better portions at a reduced price at high quality.

Beautiful house and gardens

Swimming pool was cold, shower didn’t have any pressure, breakfast was cold. They tried to charge me for someone else’s drinks on check out.
