"Pretty Giid"

Clean room and a go stay. Traffic is the town busy and roadwork make old sat nav maps hard work. Right out of hotel and first left take you to lots of places to eat and drink. Supermarket out to the left. Would use again

"weekend stay"

The building was previous a student hotel. The rooms are very small. Very uncomfortable. Besides this it is rather clean and ok. Not for family stay.

hotel is in a great location beside the old town.I had a problem with the air conditioning in the room which was not resolved despite complaining about it.

"Incorrect Hotel Information"

We booked a Superior room but there were no Superior rooms just standard rooms with a not very large double bed. The hotel was advertised as having Hi speed WiFi internet in every room but the signal was so poor that it was unusable. We would not stay there again.

"Big room, great service, perks!"

As an Accor platinum member , I was treated like royalty. Free suite upgrade , gingerbread platter to welcome me. Suite was huge and very clean. Parking is outdoors spacious and guarded. Are was safe , and a 10 min walk to downtown. Thanks mercure !

"So close to old town and on-site parking."

The location is very convenient to the old town and sights everyone wants to see - just a short walk. There are park areas close to the hotel making the location even more attractive. Modern hotel with all necessary amenities.

"Hassle free!"

The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. I had a smoking room but it was fresh with no stale tobacco smells. The location is great for pedestrian access to this beautiful city. The staff are typical Poles, helpful, friendly and quick to smile. The breakfast left nothing to be desired with an attentive waiting staff. The bed looked doubtful initially crammed as it was in a corner, but I was alone and it didn't matter to me and it turned out to be very comfortable. I 'm fortunate enough not to bother with what a stay in any hotel costs me but I have high standards and will not be dictated to by the anti-smoking brigade. The Mercure gets 5 stars from me because I'm free to have a smoke in my room without hassle. Other "5 star hotels" please note!

"Sufficient hotel, too far from city center."

The rooms were clean and spacious, but there is no wifi in the room. The staff at the front desk were not very friendly. The breakfast was very good and plentiful if you are willing to pay 40 Zloty extra a night. The hotel is a bit too far from the city center--you have to cross a very busy four-lane road and then walk 5 minutes. There is a fitness center (I didn't see it). There are no shops in easy walking distance from the hotel.

"Very good and not a bad location"

this hotel is located across the road from the beautiful medieval town centre. Staff most helpful, facilities adequate for the rating. For us - good stay - problem-free. If your booking is without breakfast you will find a charge (PLN 40) rather steep for the country.
