DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Flagstaff

Check in was easy, hotel was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast offering too expensive for what it was. Better off finding a restaurant.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The dog area was very good and even had a bag/disposal station.

Room door had to be pushed shut and we saw others on our level with the same problem. This is an incredible safety hazard! There was not coffee easily accessible (most places we stay have it in the room!!) Had to wait 15 minutes for just a plain coffee when it wasn’t even busy. Staff didn’t seem happy to be there or concerned about our stay. The issues with the door and the potential for safety were met with a dismissive attitude. Overall the atmosphere was cold and uninviting. Also, the water did not get hot for showering, the toilet paper holder was broken, the ice machine was on a different floor (when asked, the was told to just go up the stairs and it seemed as if I was asking for something unreasonable). I expected much better service and accommodations for the price.

I like the breakfast. It is very good. We reserved the room with breakfast, so it was very convenient in the mornings. It is close to everything including Arizona Snowbowl.

I like the location. I liked the staff very friendly and hospitable.

I didn't like how the room was stuffy and no a/c but an auto fan in the thermostat wasn't accommodating our expectations. I didn't like that the window only opened 6". We needed cool cold air. So I had to grab my wife's stand up fan from our vehicle and place it in front on the opened window so we can sleep comfortably. It worked.
