Hôtel ibis Annecy Centre Vieille Ville

The perfect place to stay for wandering around the Old Town - very picturesque surroundings. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, the staff and surroundings meant it was much easier to overlook that the room was a bit tired/shabby looking (but it was clean and warm).

The hotel is right on the canal and right in old town which is full of great restaurants, cafes and shopping. There is pay parking below the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Lucas (bartender)Jeffrey, Maria ( front desk) and everyone else including the breakfast staff and room staff made the stay extra enjoyable. The hotel has a great inclusive breakfast. There are snacks and adult beverages available for purchase all day at the bar. Great choice, will stay here again for sure. Thank you Ibis! Ken from USA (Arizona)

Very comfortable bed, clean simple room facing river. Would stay again. Only problem was 4-5 men always congregating outside entrance which felt unsafe.

I’ve stayed here 4 times and will return. Walk in back to a charming square then the food alley. In front is the lovely canal. An easy walk to the train station and lake.

It’s an okay hotel that is conveniently located to both the town and parking garage.

Great location!! Having the parking next door was a big bonus. Staff were all wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

Right next to the river so we opened the window at night to sleep. Perfect weather for night breezes and the water was so relaxing. 8 min walk from the train station so no taxi needed! also very convenient to all the shops and restaurants. Short walk to the lake and Palais de isle and chateau annecy. Staff was very friendly and spoke English! So helpful to us. There was a charging station for your phone in the lobby. And a luggage room we could put our stuff in after we checked out. We had a big time gap until our train arrived so that was really great to not have to lug our bags around. No safe or fridge in the room. We didn’t need one so it was ok Water pressure is great. Bed is comfy. They only had large towels and no hand towels or rags. Part of an eco friendly initiative. There was a bench in the room which I liked to get ready. And thick blackout curtains also. We opened the window and then pulled the curtain across. It’s was great stay overall.
