Ibis Chalons En Champagne

One night business trip. Easy to find and park, but a few km outside of Chalons-en-Champagne. Easy check-in and a welcoming bar and small restaurant. (Had a great burger!). The room was fine, good bed and shower, and good wifi. Will stay again.

One of the poor relations of the Ibis group, stuck in an odd corner of a large Agricultural centre, staffed by very young girls, although they were pretty efficient at the booking and helpful too. The rooms weren't dirty but not spotless either, just looked and felt slightly unkempt.

Great for an overnight stay en route to Calais.

Very clean and well presented. Comfortable bed and good bathroom facilities. We enjoyed our evening meal in the small restaurant after crossing France from the west coast. Afterwards an evening stroll around the wooded grounds of the agricultural college provided a welcome relaxation to end our evening. An excellent buffet breakfast in the morning to help us on our way to the Franco-German frontier.

A good stop over en route to the south. I enjoy my breakfasts here. The parking is very convenient and the location is quiet.

This is the second time we've stayed here on our return journey from the south. Convenient for time and distance both from the south and to the tunnel. The first time we stayed we hadn't been able to ascertain whether there was a restaurant as the web site didn't specify. There was, however this time having expected the restaurant there were only snacks available which was a pity as we'd been relying on this! Snacks were OK but a full meal would have been better. Breakfast very good and plentiful.

We stopped over at the hotel for 1 night on our way to the south of France, the rooms were very comfortable, the staff great and we had a lovely meal in the hotel restaurant. This was our first trip with the family pet which was also made very welcome at the hotel. There's plenty of countryside around the hotel for the obligatory dog walk :) We will certainly stop here again on future trips.

Good hotel for a stop in Champagne passing through. A bit outside city but close to the motorway. Service and room with a comfortable bed. We came late and took a dinner and it was good as well.

We stayed one night travelling from England to Italy. This was a good hotel for our purposes, close to motorway, a little bit tricky to find at the last hurdle, on the edge of an industrial/retail park and difficult to see the signs at night (tip: turn left before going on the park). The staff were pleasant, we arrived after 10pm but were still able to have food and a drink from a bar menu. Our room was clean, a bit smaller than expected, but nice bathroom, comfy bed, good breakfast, quick checkout. We thought it might be noisy when we saw the industrial estate but it wasn't
