ibis Auxerre Sud

My wife and I were travelling to the south of France and decided to break our journey going and coming back. Auxerre was approximately half distance. This hotel is located at the services next to the A6 outside Auxere. Obviously, it is remote from the town and nightlife, however you can get food at a discount from the service cafeteria. If you just want to get your head down and rest enroute this is fine otherwise book elsewhere. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean if not a little small. The bed was very comfortably however the climate control didn't seem to be able to cope with the heat outside.

Une nuit sur l'autoroute pour sortir de Paris le soir et éviter les bouchons du lendemain matin. Arrivée tardive. Rien de spécifique à dire si ce n'est que l'hôtel aurait besoin d'un rajeunissement. Mais son emplacement est tres pratique. Voilà plusieurs fois que nous nous y arretons.

Second stay as part of a coach trip - see my review last year . Was allocated room 44- disabled room for some reason . Only room for one of us to get out of bed on one side- the other was virtually against the wall . I asked to be moved the very (un) helpful girl on reception said no more rooms . Shower was in a small sit in bath which showered all of the floor as well as the curtain was inadequate . No curtain in bathroom which backed onto car park . Water was not constant and went from hot to cold . The food in the service station was pricy and unappetising. I cannot find any redeeming qualities for this hotel at the moment and if I had any control over where the coach company use in future, I would definitely drop this place from the itinerary, although I appreciate it is booked for its proximity to the motorway . A shame as the rest of the trip has been superb

Bien placé pour les autoroutiers, mais introuvables par la route normal. Route inexistante sur le GPS. Personnel agréable. Literie confortable. Voila le positif, pour le reste, propreté, insonorisation, état général de l'hotel, c'est vieux et ça se voit, s'entend.

Arrivés en fin d après midi avons reçu un très bon accueil , personnel très agréable, établissement correct mais manque de climatisation chambre très étroite, salle de bains vétuste et petite , 1 seul restaurant à proximité une brasserie d'auto route , petit déjeuner très correct ,( buffet à volonté),

Juste pour une nuit sur autoroute.

une seule nuit, dommage que le vitrage ne protège pas assez du froid et du bruit (surtout pour un établissement proche de l'autoroute)

Jamais vu un hôtel Ibis aussi vétuste, aussi glauque et qui plus est sale. Ai faitrouvé un mail directement à Accor.

Personnel très sympathique . Possibilité d'avoir restauration / snack / cafe 24/24 Très facile d'accès et surtout sur autoroute avec parking. Animaux admis ''.super
