ibis Auxerre Sud

Driving from Geneva to Normandy we decided to stop here, it was an old building but ok for just one night. The staff were nice and helpful but their English knowledge was limited. The room was small and clean. Breakfast was good, fresh bread, eggs, ham and cheese. One important thing , the access to the hotel is very difficult, our gps couldn't take us, we had to go to the ibis center and they gave us directions to go to the sud ibis ( we did not stay at the ibis center because they don't have parking.) We might go back if really need to.

Stayed here for one night in way back from Spain on a coach trip . Middle of nowhere, room small and in need of a facelift , tiny bathroom - however the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in . There is no restaurant in the hotel , you have to walk over to the service station . You can hear virtually every sound from rooms around you . Breakfast is served in a small room by reception and we were actually served from the buffet by a band of ladies who ensured you didn't have more than your fair share ! But it was a tasty continental style meal, bread, cheese, ham, fruit , yoghurt and pastries . It was ok for a night stay and I'm guessing was pretty cheap but I wouldn't rush back there

The only thing that was difficult about this location was the exit access. You could only drive right up to the front door by the southbound exit. If you were coming from the other direction you had to drive 30 min out of the way to get to wrap around the next exit and return to access hotel from correct direction. Otherwise you had to park on north side of exit and walk across the access bridge which was very difficult with luggage and a baby.

hélas pas de clim donc à plus de 30 ° dur pour le sommeil , le bruit à l'intérieur ( porte pour la clim qui grince ) pour la clim ,je pense que le groupe accord a les moyens financiers pour réaliser qui serai un énorme confort pour un hotel de 3 étoiles à l'avenir , je regarderai un peut mieux pour avoir ce confort
