We were staying for a funeral. Staff were really helpful and understanding. Room was spotless and breakfast had an excellent choice.

Hot water for tea at breakfast not hot enough. Unsure if we could get boiling water from the coffee machine and dared not try!

The staff were still friendly despite long working hours and facilities issues. Room was comfortable and clean.

Minimal staff. Impacted cleanliness, table clearance and service at meals. One member of staff at afternoon tea - not always present nor at bar for service. Breakfast was not replenished timely. Tables not cleared had to ask for cutlery etc. Coffee machines kept breaking down. Staff having to manage problems to best of their ability. Food expensive for quality. Staff clearly doing their best.
