Been there many times. Ideal location. Lovely little village.

Excellent breakfast and very helpful staff. The decor of the hotel was very well designed and everywhere was very clean.

From the moment you walked in the door everyone you met couldn't be more helpful. The rooms were spotless, the decor inviting. We ate in the restaurant and the staff were friendly and food was delicious. Will def book again.

The location, the facilities , and the use of the pool after a day's riding were amazing. The staff were friendly, and extra coffee was made available when asked for.

The room was extremely hot , the radiator had no switch to turn down, and as the weather was extremely hot, it made the room unpleasant. There was a fan available. However, it did not cool the room sufficiently for a pleasant night's sleep.

Great location. Secure parking. Lovely staff. Comfy bed. Amazing large LED mirror in the bathroom! Fan in the wardrobe - and boy was it needed !!

Along with other people’s comments. It’s a shame the bathrooms didn’t get the refurb they needed, as they are very dated. Whilst clean enough (baring some mouldy sealant, and the enamel wearing away) the over bath shower was powerful and hot. The loo roll holder almost at floor level under the sink means you need to be a yoga master or contortionist to reach it, please trailing floor it gave me the ‘ick ! Floor is like a public toilet, swimming pool changing no slip job, practical but also a bit ‘ick For the price paid/charged. I do think the bathrooms need to be refurbed. also cobwebs hanging from ceiling and windowsills that need to be sanded, filled and painted - not a big job but would make a huge difference to first impressions. Standard double bed room - 2 singles zipped together, so either feel the ‘join’ or roll to either side…. An actual double would have been better.
