"/!\ PUNAISES DE LIT - BED BUGS"

UNIQUEMENT -> Belle chambre -> Déco moderne mais à quel prix ???? /!\ PUNAISES DE LITS - BED BUGS

1/ /!\ PUNAISES DE LIT - BED BUGS → Retrouvées sur le lit au réveil avec des traces de sang + Taches noires sur les draps (excréments de punaises) + Boutons et inflammations cutanées 2/ Personnel éteint, peu sociable, de mauvaise foi, malhonnête et inhumain qui cherche à nous faire taire en nous offrant un "déjeuner" 3/ Aucun geste commercial de la part de l’hôtel qui a gâché notre séjour avec ces punaises de lit → Nous nous sommes retrouvés à la rue avec un bébé de 3 ans à chercher un autre hôtel 4/ Évacuations bouchées → ce qui a causé une inondation dans la chambre après la douche 5/ Constat de draps propres, serviettes propres, lit bébé entreposés dans un local à l'écart délabré et sale au bout du couloir de l’hôtel 6/ Présence extrême de fourmis dans la chambre malgré plusieurs avertissements à la réception. 7/ Piscine sale malgré les photos prometteuses ! + Enorme dépôt blanc (tartre) et noir (moisissures) juste au dessus de l'eau de la 2 eme piscine face mer 8/ Aucune bouteille d’eau gratuite dans la chambre -> pour un hotel 5 étoiles ... 9/ Tenue exigée dans les restaurants : OK → Cependant, même le simple port d’un short et de claquettes est interdit → Baskets et pantalon exigés… Dictature ??? 10/ Caution énorme à laisser en arrivant au check in (de mémoire 20 000 roupies) 11/ Jardin du fond de l'hotel avec cascade laissé complètement à l'abandon, strictement aucun entretien ... normal peu de personnes le voit mais beaucoup de chambres y sont pourtant => Tout cela pour 300 € la nuit !!!! => Hotel qui n'a que le nom Sofitel comme image de marque mais la qualité du service n'y est absolument pas pour un 5 étoiles !!!! HONTE AU SOFITEL DE FLIC EN FLAC !!!!

The buffet dinner was fantastic! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean, comfortable and a good size with sea views. Car park has lots of space available and the hotel is on the beachfront with a great sunset view!

It’s not close to any restaurants or shops it is a short drive or taxi ride away.

"Not somewhere I would go again!"

The dinner at the Teppenyaki restaurant was the nicest thing we had at the hotel, the chef was a lot of fun and his eye for detail was just great. The staff in the Chinese restaurant were also very nice and accomondating.

What you see on pictures is not what you get, the sun beds are old and very dirty - I made sure we put towels down before sitting on them and even the towels at times were dirty. Breakfast - buffet breakfast was quite standard, but it was just dirty, the floor, tables and chairs are not great. Even when you went into the cold room it was messy and food on the floor constantly. Dinner - the restaurants we went to Chinese was nice, the Teppenyaki was the best thing the chef was lovely and the experience was so good, even the stapp was nice. Again the buffet dinner was the same lots of staff but it was dirty, messy and chaos. Housekeeping - nearly everyday our room was not cleaned before 4pm and even some days 5pm - lots of days we had to ask for housekeeping to come and clean our rooms, and even then they wouldn't come for ages. When they did come it was always inconsistant where we would need to call and ask for things i.e. face towels or hand towels. One day we came back into our room and the bathroom had lots of strands from the broom they must of used and on our last night we found a bug in our bed. Room - the layout of the room is a little odd feels like a budget hotel rather than a Sofitel hotel we have stayed in other countries, the toilet is the smallest toilet where you can just turn around and extermely basic. The room size was fine but the bathroom was very odd. For a newly renovated room, this didn't feel very new or clean. Down the cupboard where the glasses were kept there were stain marks or like something had spilt. Calling for Staff - on check out we called reception around 5 times to see if anyone could help with our bags, there are no lifts and we had 5 bags. No one actually answered the phone so we struggled to get our bags to reception, when we got to reception there were so many staff we couldn't understand what was going on. We actually went to Sugar Beach for dinner one day and it was a million times better!

The service was disappointing. We had to argue to obtain the room we had already booked, paid for, and whose availability had been confirmed by the hotel several weeks in advance. To make matters worse, the receptionist asked to see our personal phone to verify previous conversations we had with the hotel. I would expect the staff to check their own records and reservation system rather than request access to a guest’s personal device. This approach felt unprofessional and gave the impression that our word was being questioned. Overall, it seemed that there was a lack of communication and coordination among the hotel staff, which resulted in an unnecessarily stressful experience. Fortunately, we decided to leave and stay at another hotel in the southwest of the island, where we finally experienced the level of service and professionalism one would expect from a true five star property.

"Good but has room for improvement"

The facilities are great however the service is not excellent it’s lacking definitely room for improvement. Breakfast is good just like any other hotel.

We had an issue with the toilet wasn’t working as soon as we received the room means it was not checked prior to giving us the room. Hotel rectified by offering an upgrade which we appreciated. Also the restaurants in the facility are not great can definitely be improved.

"Good choice for good value"

The location, complimentary non-motorized water activities with kids, good selection of different world cuisine for dinner, spare sun beds and lounges anytime during the day, calm, quite, peaceful. The staff at reception was exceptionally was friendly and supportive. Thanks a lot for birthday cake and organisation.

The cleaning of room and restaurants (main & beach) need to be improved definitely. Water activities manager himself was generally not polite enough to people and their questions. But all the rest of water activities staff was very nice and patient. I had high expectation for kids club but the staff and activities were disappointing. You get very nice quality champaigne free at breakfast but you need to pay for beverages even for water during dinner and also you need to fill your water bottles everytime rather than receiving by housekeeping daily.
