ibis Bordeaux Mérignac

Close to the bus station number 1 (train station to the airport). I got a plate with cheese and ham in the afternoon. All the restaurants around serve dinner at 7pm. Breakfast starts at 4:30. A large choice for every one. I recommand warmly the Ibis bordeaux aerport for the service at a good price. The restaurant / breakfast room is cosy.

Appalling level of service at check-in. I arrived very early in the morning, told the man at reception that I’d just booked one hour ago and he said he couldn’t find the booking ! I contacted hotels.com and asked them to contact the hotel. The kind lady did this several times but the man on reception just picked up the phone and put it down ! An appalling level of service. Completely disinterested and not listening to what I said regarding the booking. The worst service I’ve ever had ! Avoid unless you want to have the risk of waiting 45 minutes like me...

Shuttle experience was very disappointing. Room was very minimal

Hotel is nor far from the airport this is great. Room as small as ibis but clean and bed is really comfortable. Good choice of channels. Several restaurants around. I took a snack at the hotel. Great but not a lot of choices. Staff is friendly. I just learned in the morning that the shuttle is in the hotel next door. was ok to walk there. Should notify that you should reserve the shuttle on the hotel description.

Does the job, small, clean, free shuttle to airport. Recommend if you have an early flight in the morning

Overnight stay as we had a late flight into Bordeaux. Reception was welcoming and we had a bottle of wine and a large pizza in the restaurant even though it was a bit late (after 10pm), both were very good and not expensive. Breakfast was mostly cold cuts and bread, croissants etc. Coffee was good and I managed to get a soft boiled egg at the third attempt. Some of the cutlery was not clean - should be checked before putting it out for guests. I loved the toaster - select how long you wanted it to toast for and press a button; the bread slowly descends into the toaster and reappears when done.!

Its good decent hotel. But no elevator as its just one floor. But, they are helpful even in luggage. Free shuttle to and fro from airport/hotel. You just need to call hotel once you arrive at bordeaux airport and they send car in 5minutes!

Basic hotel near Bordeaux airport. Rooms are too small: you have to squeeze to pass by from side to side. It feels even tighter when you have small children. However, the breakfast was surprisingly very good with a variety of fruits, croissants, gluten free options and make your own (soft) boiled eggs. To get the airport shuttle, you have to call and book ahead.

The hotel is located 2 tram stops from the airport...in what seemed like a business park. The hotel is clean and comfortable....although there is no lift to the first floor! Due to its location, I had no alternative but have dinner and breakfast. Basic....nothing exciting! The waitress was probably the most unfriendly and unhelpful I’ve had the misfortune of being served by! Customers are obviously an inconvenience to her! Would I stay again? Probably not!
