ibis Bordeaux Mérignac

Despite the smelly entrance, this is a comfortable place to stay. Staff very helpful getting early morning taxi and coffee at 4 a.m. Bed is comfortable.

Of the 3 Ibis hotels (Red, Yellow & Green) this one (Red) is most distance from the airport and not easily located. The room for 2 people was very small, probably OK for one person. The AC was not functioning.

The staff were incredible, the breakfast was so yummy, the free shuttle to the airport was a life saver and the hotel is literally by the bus stop which takes half an hour to get into the centre of town. I have absolutely no complaints, perfect for what I needed it for.

Stayed to be near to the airport prior to a flight the next morning. Small rooms but sufficient for the one night's stay.

Close to airport, cosy and quiet, not too expensive, rooms and lobbies upgraded, free and secure parking... Worth a B+ ( : = ) No lift, no restaurant any more... B- ) : = (

ok to stay for 1 night cheap and not far from city

Good hotel - large and modern room. Very clean. It is on the outskirts of the city but easily accessible to the Tram which only takes about 10 minutes right into the centre.

just an overnight airport stay, as expected, usual Ibis standard, fine but not luxurious. we have stayed before and were disappointed when we arrived to find the bar/restaurant was closed due to refurbishment

We booked to stay before a morning flight - one of the reasons was we had our young child with us and the website confirmed that the hotel had a restaurant. The kitchen was closed which meant we had to find alternative options with a hungry 2 year old in tow. Why advertise a restaurant if it is not open? Also the bed that was provided for my child was unsafe - it was located under a shelf which we worried she would hit her head on if she woke up during the night and there was also a raised ledge to the side of the bed which would have caused harm if she rolled to it during the night so I ended up sharing my bed and getting no sleep. Hotel is cheap for a reason.

Hotel very basic. Room tiny but clean. The quality/ standard is reflected in price. Okay for a 1 night stop over but definitely nothing longer.
