"The sunsets were absolutely stunning"

8.0

I absolutely loved my stay at the Divi Aruba Resort! It’s a smaller resort than I initially expected, but the great thing is you also have access to the nearby Tamarijn Aruba Resort, which makes it feel like you're getting the best of both worlds. You can use their facilities and enjoy some incredible restaurants. Honestly, the food in Aruba was hands down the best I've ever had on a vacation. I’ve been to places like Mexico, the Cayman Islands, the Bahamas, and the Dominican Republic, but the culinary experience here was on another level. The only real downside I found at the Divi was that, even though it’s an all-inclusive resort, there were no snacks or drinks in the room fridge, which I’ve experienced at other resorts. I couldn’t find even a bottle of water or a simple snack like chips in the room. If you want snacks, you have to walk to the Tamarijn’s gift shop, which has a great selection of drinks, snacks, gifts, sunscreen, etc. Unfortunately, the Divi gift shop only had clothing, so that’s something they should definitely consider changing. Another minor issue was some construction work happening around the resort. It didn’t bother us too much, but it was an eyesore, and it would’ve been nice to know about it before booking. Also, the pool area’s floor was extremely slippery when wet and incredibly hot when dry, so definitely watch your step. I heard from some regulars that they’re working on a solution for this, so hopefully, that gets addressed soon. On the positive side, my mom and I loved the beach! The sunsets were absolutely stunning—like nothing I’ve seen anywhere else. We also booked a couple of excursions through the front desk, and they were fantastic. My mom, who's 65, and I, at 37, did the UTV tour, and it was amazing to see her light up like a kid again while we whipped around the island. We also did the Palms Island tour, which was a longer day trip to a small island with snorkeling, scuba diving, flamingos (which I loved!), and a fun inflatable water obstacle course. Just a heads-up, though—if you're planning to do the Palms Island tour, avoid booking it when the cruise ships are docked, as the traffic was a nightmare. The alcohol and food on the island tour were decent but not amazing, so I’d recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks for that trip. Overall, I had an unforgettable time in Aruba and would definitely return. However, I’d probably stay at the Tamarijn next time, as it’s a little more updated and offers a more modern experience.

"Sad"

4.0

Well it’s broken down for one! There’s no room service! The one bar on the beach isn’t Included! I’ve been to resorts wayyy better than this. I’m actually upset I spent $5000 for mostly nothing except making friends. Food basic.. and it’s not good, no room service! I’ve never been too and all inclusive that didn’t offer it. Our room we upgraded .. yea nothing like I spent less money on. It is what it is, I will have a great time. But I honestly will never come back here!

"Perfect getaway"

8.0

Overall the resort was great. The biggest downside for me was allowing smoking just about anywhere. I should have looked at this before arriving however as their site states it essentially allowed anywhere but in the rooms. Next time I’ll be more diligent. There should be smoking only areas. I do not want to smell it from my neighbors on the balcony/patio next to me. The pool and beach were great. Saving chairs early is a must. The beach is pristine! Food was delicious but it’s important to reserve dinners ahead of time. Don’t be the guy who yells at the person at the restaurant because there isn’t a table when you didn’t reserve something ahead of time. All-in-all great stay!

""It's Fine""

6.0

“It’s Fine” This review of the Divi All Inclusive in Aruba gives the resort 3 star - the island’s unbeatable weather and pleasant dining experiences but the property has several shortcomings. The oceanfront room was dated, located far from amenities, and affected by nearby construction, while beverage service was disappointing, with limited drink options and some odd restrictions. The food quality and buffet variety were good, but the resort lacked lively entertainment and had inconsistencies with beach towels and cleanliness in certain areas. Overall, the resort is “fine.” Room: we paid for the “Best” which is the ocean front room. We booked 2Q but that was not aviable when we arrived. Room is dated and far from other amenities but worse is the ongoing daily construction next door as they build additional rooms. I inquired about moving and was told I would need to sign a down grade form but no rooms were available in area I wanted. Rooms were approximately cooled and had great water pressure. Mini fridge in room was empty and not sure why offered. Refillable water bottles provided but no bottle water available. While ice machine did exist in building the water refill stations were in other areas so drinking filtered water had to be planned. The bed was comfortable and very fluffy pillows. Food: Reservation system worked well and we were able to try each a la carte restaurant we wanted and at good times for us. The service was generally good and pleasantly pleased with our entrees. We had the buffet for morning and lunch and found it to have a good variety and many items cooked to order. Pagers provided while they made your entree so no need to stand and wait. We had lunch at the pool bar as well - these offered with limited menus and these were busy so slow but food was good. Beach bar between the two properties is not all inclusive which we found odd. We ordered and bar tender did immediately tell us it was not part of our package but had to be paid with cash or credit. Beverages: Disappointing - never found a good drink. Large selection of decent wines available. Asked for a mimosa at breakfast and was told this was only offered on Sunday. Ordered shots at one bar mid afternoon and combat tender said “I have been here 16 years and we are not doing this” - we are a group of 50-60 YO and we aren’t sure what the problem was but never got the shots. Another day we were told they couldn’t make shots but could “pour” them so basically they could pour two or three liquors together and give it to us. For an all-inclusive we found this quite odd! Bars do not open until 11am so if you like to get out early morning there are not options outside of of the buffet or coffee shop even for non alcoholic drink. Beach: Beach by main pool is beautiful and fun to frolic in. Waves can be strong so be cautious. Pool: Small not sprawling like newer properties and no swim up bar. A calendar of activities is available but there was nothing our first two days and the last two these was dancing one day and volleyball and water aerobics another. Lounge chairs are ample and no need to “reserve” and shade is available. Cleanliness: Public areas generally clean and well-maintained. Garbage visible on beach and bars in the early mornings. Rooms were cleaned daily and had no musty odors. Entertainment: If you are looking for an entertainment crew and pool activities this is not the place. Pool music was perfect for a spa and to help you sleep but very mellow during the day. Several asked them to change it and our requests were met with refusals. Nightly entertainment was limited. Live music and DJs could be found around the beach bar at night. Some other nightly shows / dancers brought in at night. Typical all inclusive shows. The resort is very much what you make it. Plan to entertain yourself! We played dice and cards at the tables by the bars and still had an enjoyable time! Towels: Beach hut has towels which need to be exchanged however that was not communicated up front. However we are pretty confident they ask for room number but do not track the towels. Some days towels were neatly added to each chair and some days they were not. Beach hut: Offered noodles, games and limited activities to enhance your time at the water.

"Outstanding stay—special thanks to Guest Service Rep Reygenald"

10.0

We visited as a group of eight with four rooms and couldn’t be happier with Divi Aruba All Inclusive. At check-in, Reygenald truly went above and beyond, calm, friendly, and incredibly effective. He spent about 20 minutes working through availability so our four rooms could be together and even arranged upgraded pool/ocean suites. Because of him, we spent every day relaxing at our private pool with our own bartender, the highlight of the trip. Rooms were beautifully updated, clean, and spacious. Breakfast offered everything we expected; lunch and dinners were delicious; and the bars were lively and well run. The beach location is fantastic (soft sand, clear water), and it’s only a short cab ride to shopping. We’re already planning a return in October 2026, and our cousins—who stayed at another resort—now plan to book Divi as well. Thank you, Reygenald, for making our vacation seamless and memorable!

"Book that trip"

10.0

My sister and I just got back from a four day vacation at the Divi all inclusive and it was an amazing trip. We enjoyed the beautiful beach side room and great pools. We also were able to explore on the Ebike and snorkling activity that was offered by the hotel. Zen and Donny made our trip memorable forever and can not thank them enough for making sure we were safe in and out of the water, truly amazing team!

Our room was garden view but was right near the water in a perfect location. The staff were excellent, food amazing, and the Divi and its sister resort were phenomenal. I’ve stayed at many all inclusives but this one is near or at the top, for me.
