Beautiful hotel a short walk from town. Lovely staff who were really friendly. Rooftop pool and hot tub was beautiful, rooms large and accommodating but the least said about the pillows the better (pretty hard). Really had a wonderful stay, if only the weather was as bright as the staff. Cannot fault the hotel and so glad we chose it for our Portofino trip.

We initially got a room with sea view on the 2nd floor and were moved to a similar lovely room on the 4th floor which was fabulous - great views , space comfortable and good bathroom and further away from the street noice of a very busy street right outside hotel . Breakfast was lovely inside or out and staff were very pleasant , rooftop pool was small but had great views but could do with parasols if safe to use with wind .access to beach via tunnel was great and we used beach beds often ( extra cost) . Town with mvany restaurant's is easily walkable and its is a maybe 30 min walk to Portofino and 30 back that we often did before the breakfast with stunning views . Would definitely go again but we were not offered dinners so we went out every night which was lovely

Confusion on first night as to which rooms we were cgetting but sorted quickly enough. Nothing else really and their parking in the underground facility is and engineering involved is a wonder and sight to behold. The road was noisy and busy.

Had such a great experience for our 3 night stay in Santa Margherita. The staff left us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon and welcomed our dog with some treats. Our room was very comfortable and the view of the marina is spectacular. We loved sitting on the terrace while the son set with the bottle of champagne. Everything in town is very walkable from the hotel. You can even walk to Portofino. It’s a little over an hour to get there on foot, and there’s a couple stressful spots along the street, but you’re not the only one taking the walk so it seems cars and other motorists kind of expect to keep a look out for pedestrians. The pool and the beach are not accessible for dogs, but we discussed a dog friendly beach just a short walk up the road. We narrowed towels from the beach attendant and spent one of our days in the dog beach and also having a decent lunch at a beachside restaurant.

Very good view of the room, roof top pool is a great place to chill after sun goes down and location makes it easy to reach Portofino from the bust stop right in front of the hotel.

Attitude of beach personnel to the hotel guests. They are interested in the money rather than making you comfortable, also the prices of the beach restaurant was so high compared to the quality of the food served.
