Extended Stay America Suites - Seattle - Mukilteo

It's an Extended Stay America hotel, expect it to be a nice, vanilla hotel experience. Beds are moderately comfortable, kitchens are workable (although take care when actually cooking, sensitive smoke detectors).

No frills, cutting corners. Room was adequate, but it's just a room. I've come to expect a hair dryer. There wasn't one and not even available at the front desk. While the room has a kitchenette, you had to go to front desk to request everything separately. Not even a coffee maker pre-stocked. Breakfast consists of oatmeal packets and granola bars. Photos in the lobby show oranges and hard boiled eggs, but that's not the reality. No pool or hot tub. Overall it was clean, but cutting corners everywhere possible in amenities.

Check in was difficult. I prepaid for the room to make it easier as we were getting in late.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Night clerk Daniel was great.

No mirror except in bathroom

Comfy mattress. Clean. Nice Kitchenette with full size fridge. Close to major grocery and fast food. Night person Katie was sweet! and helpful providing us extra blanket, fresh towels, etc.

Ran out of coffee pods for the rooms.

Pretty setting, safe parking, the room was very clean and quiet, convenient kitchenette, and very comfortable mattress. Daniel checked us in; he was VERY efficient and quickly gave us all the information we needed to comfortably move into our room.

No seperate mirror outside of the bathroom. The bathroom light & fan are on the same switch, so when using the bathroom vanity it’s impossible to have any conversation with the person in the room. Also they were frequently out of coffee pods for the rooms, as well as some of the breakfast items in the lobby.

I've noticed there have been a few negative reviews for this property. I read some of them. I've stayed at the mukilteo and Silver lake Extended stays many times over the last two years and I can honestly say I have never had a single negative incident during one of my stays. My experience has always been a very positive one. They just renovated as well, which gives the whole place a nice updated feel. It's clean, has a pleasant fragrance, the staff at the front desk as well as those I've encountered throught the halls, are as always more than happy to assist in any way, should I need something, and are extremely friendly otherwise. They have always treated both my husband and myself, with courtesy and respect. I highly recommend both the mukilteo properties and the silverlake property.
