Unfortunately, our stay did not end as we expected. We planned to relax from Saturday to Tuesday. On the first day we arrived very late. The second day we were exploring the area, after returning we used the hot tub, we turned on the music enough to hear it, but still have a conversation without raising our voices, so the music was not very loud. After about 20 minutes a gentleman came introducing himself as the general manager of the facility. In a very rude way he told us that we had to turn the music off immediately, if not we would be thrown out of the facility immediately. We turned the music off strait away, although we did not understand the situation, because in lodge next door, the users had the music on much louder than us and no one paid them any attention. After a few minutes we decided that we would go back to the lodge, because we did not feel like staying in the hot tub anymore after this situation. The curfew at the property starts at 10pm and this whole thing happened at 8pm. The house next to us was partying non-stop after the curfew, so loudly that we could hear everything with the windows and doors closed, so we felt we were being treated unfairly. Before we arrived we had to fill out a form with the full name of all participants (we are foreign) along with their age and gender, that was a little bit strange, because we never seen something like it in other lodges, hotels, apartaments, etc. We hope this is just a very poor management issue and not discrimination because it looked like it. We decided to leave a day early because we came to relax and after the whole thing we were unable to do so, also we haven't used the hot tub since. The cleanliness of the facility was also not good. Spoons, candy wrappers under the beds. We hope no one have simillar situation to ours.

Excellent location so peaceful and tranquil. Lodge was very well equipped with everything you need available. Loved it that much we have already booked again for a week this time

Nothing it was amazing. Only wee negative was the fact the corner couch is in 3 pieces it kept coming apart lol but did nothing to spoil our experience.

The keys were in the cabin door ready for our arrival. Clean, warm and has everything you need. Lovely walk through the wood and the estate down to the road. Peaceful. Staff friendly and helpful even though my questions were about the history of the surrounding area not about the cabin. Communication throughout the whole booking process was prompt.
