Bathroom size was very very small. Not worth the room tariff when compared to other hotels in the area that are cheaper than Ibis.
The hotel is very convenient for the train station, and yet not too noisy. Unfortunately Essen as a whole is a bit dodgy - not a place to walk around solo at night if possible. Hotel room was compact but convenient. Bed was very comfortable. Shame the room must once have been smoked in as could still smell it - not nice. The hotel staff were very helpful, letting me access my room early on day of check in, and then looking after my luggage on day of check out. Overall, if I have to visit Essen again then I would certainly stay here; but ideally just avoid staying in Essen at all.
Good location for transportation, clean hotel, nice staff. Very reasonably priced. Would recommend.
Room Was fine for a night stay in Essen . Room was compact but enough space.
The staff were friendly and the hotel is clean and comfortable, only the double rooms are small and does not have enough place.
Good basic hotel, very convenient to the railway station at Essan, very helpful staff the receptionist even attended to me when she was about to go home in her coat. She could have just walked away!
It was very pleasant stay. So close to Essen Hbf station and Market offers connectivity and convenience.
