ibis Portsmouth Centre

Convenient location. Good Breakfast options. Breakfast staff friendly and approachable. The room was small though, it was too hot and no proper ventilation to cool the room - keep that in mind if travelling in summer. We found needles behind the bed side table before checking out so make sure to do a good sweep of the room on arrival. Lift worked fine - 1 working out of 2 so prepare extra time to wait for it to be available. Overall - friendly staff, clean open area downstairs to relax but small rooms and very very warm. Did what it needed to do.

Comfortable but if you are facing the street is was very loud with people partying in the street on the weekend. Rooms are very small but comfortable enough for one stay. Staff nice and overall nice and clean

It was close enough to the port to serve as a launching pad for a cruise. More for students as it is near a university

Arrived after a long drive in France, longer ferry crossing and this hotel was booked for convenience near the port. Lifts not working, room on the third floor. Heavy luggage, in our seventies, not what we needed. Free drinks given but really more was required. Have used Ibis a few times before with no issues. This experience was very poor.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. The only fault was that the lift was only working intermittently and my husband and I did get stuck in it. Which as I am claustraphobic it was a little bit uncomfortable for me.

First time in an Ibis Hotel. Check in was friendly, very swift, room very clean, white sheets, white bathroom towels, tea making facilities, TV. Room smallest we've been in but okay for us. Breakfast plenty of choice, cooked, continental, cereals, juice, toast, fruit etc all was being topped up as needed. There was a pool table, table top games available for your use to relax at any time of day. Staff friendly, happy to help. Toilet facilities all very clean. A ten minute walk from Portsmouth, Historical Dockyard. We didn't have an evening meal at Ibis, there was a selection of (what I would class as normal pub meals) so chose to eat out. However this wasn't easy to find as it was graduation time and most were full with people having celebration meals. We would stay there again Would stay here again

The room was very small for the cost. We could barely move in the bathroom. But the service was fine and breakfast was good

Clean, walkable from historic naval ships, food was fine

This hotel is central and we could walk everywhere we planned to go. We were on the 4th floor and the hotel had 2 lifts one was out of use and the other broke down twice.....
