ABC Swiss Quality Hotel

We stayed at ABC Swiss Quality Hotel for two nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel’s strongest advantage is its excellent location. It is conveniently situated close to the train station, with easy access to bus and train services, making it an ideal base for exploring the region. One of the highlights is the stunning mountain scenery—simply stepping outside the hotel provides beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, adding to the Swiss experience.

There are, however, a few areas where the hotel could improve. The breakfast selection was fairly limited and lacked variety compared to other hotels in a similar price range. While the rooms have air conditioning, it was only moderately effective and struggled to keep the room comfortable during warmer weather. In addition, no table fans were available upon request. Another limitation is the lack of an on-site dinner restaurant or evening dining options. Fortunately, there is a Coop supermarket nearby, which is convenient for purchasing food, snacks, and essentials.

Very Poor Stay – No Sleep Due to Faulty Air Conditioning I had an extremely disappointing stay. The room was unbearably hot, and the air conditioning unit was faulty and wouldn’t run at all. I contacted reception around 00:30, and although a staff member came up and tried to fix it for about 30 minutes, they were unable to get it working. Unfortunately, that left me with no choice but to endure the heat for the entire night. Opening the window wasn’t a viable option either due to constant noise from taxis and people shouting outside. As a result, I got virtually no sleep. To make matters worse, I asked to speak to a manager at 07:00 the next morning, but they were not available. Considering I was checking out shortly after, it felt like they were avoiding the situation as no one came to apologise or address the issue. This completely ruined the following day, as I was exhausted and unable to function properly. Overall, a very frustrating experience and far below what I would expect.

Tren istasyonuna çok yakın çok temiz bir otel. Yatak çok rahattı. Çok memnun kaldık.

Alles! Angefangen vom Check-in mit sehr freundlichem Empfang bis zum wunderschönen grosszügigen und bestens ausgestatteten Zimmer und dem tollen, sehr reichhaltigen Frühstücksbuffet. Dieses Hotel lässt keine Wünsche offen.

As usual, i book all my guests at this hotel and have never been disappointed.
