Hotel Teatro is the perfect independent boutique hotel in Denver. What makes it great is NOT the excellent accommodations (they are great!); it’s NOT the great restaurant and bar (Nickel is wonderful); and it is NOT the perfect location offering walking distance destinations within the art district. It IS the people! The wonderful team greeted us with a warm welcome and adjusted things for us with a smile, perfecting our stay and making us feel like VIPs. In particular we want to give a shout out to Kaylene — who personally saw to it that our needs were met … no matter how big or small our questions and requests were… she offered solutions and her service with a smile and the best attitude! We highly recommend Hotel Teatro!! Dave & Dee Boston

My wife & I stayed here on our wedding night 9/16/2000 & returned recently for the first time since. Our check in experience was a mix of the room not being ready and an incompetent staff who were condescending throughout the process. After waiting an hour, we were upgraded to the "largest suite in the hotel" only to discover the majority of it was closed off and occupied by other guests. Nice touch. If you are wondering why this hotel is cheaper than the others that are close by, there are reasons for that. I hope that the front desk staff find careers that they are better suited for as hospitality is not it. Terrible experience, choose another property to enjoy our wonderful city from.

We had a very good experience at this boutique hotel. The location is perfect for Ball Arena events and right on Larimar Square. All the staff is great, the room was just what we needed as well as clean and presentable. I would recommend and stay here again.
