Bedford Swan Hotel and Thermal Spa

Nice hotel with good spa facilities. Restaurant was pleasant for dinner and breakfast. Parking free.

Our room was not as nice as the photos shown, although adequate and clean.

Comfortable room and facilities

The view of the AC units out of the window and the noise from the music in the bar below until midnight

Very elegant surroundings, well appointed rooms, great food and a reasonably priced spa with a beautiful view of the river in a surprisingly quiet location considering that is so close to the town.

A couple of very minor maintenance issues (my friend’s shower bracket was loose, my door was a bit stiff to close, so really nothing serious), but I think people don’t report things either because they’re afraid they’ll be blamed, or, more likely, the good old British dislike of complaining!

Have stayed here a few times now and love this hotel

The staff in the spa are not helpful and are quite rude and this has been this way both times we have stayed, so we booked into another hotel for our second night stay

Breakfast was great The set put of the reception and lounge area including all sitting areas

The hotel prices could have included the spa
