If I could give 6 stars I would! Room was beautiful and clean, very spacious. Restaurant was excellent. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They are very helpful in planning winery visits or dinner reservations. The spa was a wonderful treat. Grounds were beautiful to walk and many spaces to sit outside with wine.

The restaurant at the Grand Barril is a culinary gem, offering a delightful menu that showcases the finest ingredients and flavors. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. The staff was attentive, professional, and always ready to assist with any request we had. Absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Beautiful 5 star authentic experience in Saint Émilion. Staff are friendly and helpful, organising someone tours, taxis and trains. Spa was wonderful with views of the vineyard. Decor was impeccable. Restaurant incredible. Bikes available for sightseeing. I would love to return.

Very disappointed with service, The waiters at the restaurant were very rude, there were 10 of us and they ignored us for about half an hour, they wanted us to order from a menu that had almost no options and they gave us the menu very reluctantly, we felt mistreated. The food was too pretentious for the service offered and the price. I would not go back.

Great stay, we loved everything. In particular the staff was very nice and helpful.

Amazing building! Unfortunately the drive was being done up, so the views were not as good as could have been. Great service and restaurant. Lovely stay!
