The breakfast and the pool

We had a very loud exhaust fan sound in our room the whole time and the sofa bed was broken and uncomfortable.

Great location

Very outdated accommodation Food for conference was cold and boring. Could not get streaming on tv. Ordinary stay

It is a comfortable room, no bells and whistles but comfortable and has a good vibe.

Nothing, we were happy.

The place had pleasant surroundings, was clean and tidy

The food was well below average, we ordered fish of the day, which was so overpriced. When we were served it was frozen processed fish, the salad was low quality a d the chips like cardboard, we did complain and with my mother being a chef asked to speak with them which our request was denied. For $30 I expected more. Such poor quality, however after asking for fresh fish at our request to pay we had the baramandy which was exceptional, we were not charged for the difference which my mother refused to pay for even with we had A staff member on check I found quite rude and who did not greet me when I said good morning to her. Overall it is a beautiful place however over priced and had no public transport to the resort or the airport. After returning the hire car to the airport we bused and the closed stop was over 2 1/2 kms away which we walked, not ideal for my 82 year old mother. I would not recommend staying here if you are after somewhere to stay prior to flying out of the Sunshine Coast airport, if you would like a good night sleep do not stay here, even thou it was a Monday night people were still up and noisy way after the bar closing time which closed way later then advised.

The pool was nice. Would have been better if it was heated

Unfortunately, we couldn’t use the air conditioning in our room due to a very loud rattling noise and the room was very hot, which made for an uncomfortable night’s sleep. I also booked dinner at Sol Restaurant for my partner’s birthday. After our mains, we were offered what we understood to be a complimentary dessert, only to later find it had been added to our bill. While staff later offered me a drink, the situation still felt misleading, as we would have left after our mains had we known the dessert wasn’t complimentary. Instead, we stayed longer and ended up spending more on an additional drink. The overall markup on the restaurant food and wine also felt very excessive, particularly given the restaurant setting was essentially in the hotel lobby.

Was so peaceful and had everything we needed.
