Holiday Inn Express Mystic by IHG

The location is ideal to access all nearby things to see in Mystic. The breakfast was comprehensive to check all the boxes of varying palates. Nice swimming pool, and exercise rooms. Cookies at check in was a nice touch as well!

We thought the breakfast was very good! We loved the new coffee machine, and the fact that it was available 24/7. I had asked for a room overlooking the Village's Christmas lights, and they accommodated us. We oldsters were able to check in a half hour earlier than 4:00. We were tired and appreciated the earlier check-in. The desk clerk was very nice and welcoming. The room was immaculate and VERY comfortable! We love staying here!

A minor thing...no coffee makers in the room, but the coffee is available 25/7 downstairs which is good. Actually, room coffee makers have blah coffee anyway. I cannot think of another thing wrong with the hostel and its hospitality and staff.

I traveled with two small children and husband. The front desk staff checking in and checking out was amazingly patient and friendly. The room (2 queen bed and 1 sofa bed) was bigger then I expected. Very clean. There is plenty of room for the kids to set up a small play area on the floor. The breakfast staff was nice and kept replenishing the food. Lot of option for a quick fast breakfast before heading out. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you to everyone at the Holiday Inn Express Mystic for making my stay stress free and showing us kindness even when my kids were acting drunk due to being overly tired.

This is a clean, basic hotel with good-sized rooms and a decent breakfast included. The lobby is not a place that you’d hang out in, but they do provide good complementary coffee and tea and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is a warm indoor pool but it is very small; more like the size of a large hot tub, which is a shame bc it loos like there is plenty of room for a normal sized pool. The exercise room is inadequate, only 3 pieces of equipment and the treadmill wasn’t working. However, the rate is good, it’s located right off 95 across from the Christmas Village, and fairly close to Main Street Mystic.
