Everything was great, hotel manager is very helpful. Restaurant was amazing.

We had an unpleasant situation, an older person collapsed in the restaurant as it was too hot I assume. I haven't seen anywhere AED kit on the walls, usually in all wine areas they have this in the case of heart attacks. I hope that the person was ok.

"Perfect Chateau"

The beautifully restored chateau with its honey stonework looks stunning in its setting in the Beaujolais countryside. We enjoyed the 4 course meal in Le 1217 restaurant in the chateau dining room. The outside pool is delightful surrounded by cherry trees. Bagnols village is cute with its own bar restaurant as an alternative dining option.

We would have preferred a smaller breakfast option be made available rather than the buffet.
