Alexander The Great Beach Hotel

We have been going to this hotel now for 25 years so we think that says it all. The staff are amazing and cannot do enough for you. We choose to have a front Seaview, which is well worth the extra money for the view it gives over the sea and Harbour. The beds are extremely comfortable. Our room was kept spotless and very clean by a lovely lady Nadya. Breakfasts are amazing with such a huge choice. You can choose whether you want to sit inside or outside. Xenia is a big asset to the hotel in the way she and her support staff greet guests going into breakfast or for other meals. The restaurant staff are very friendly and happy to help you with your requirements. Your chairbed is allocated on arrival and that is yours for the duration of your holiday. This is a big plus. You have an outside pool which is very large and inside pool. There is also an area for adults only to have their bed chairs if they want. We highly recommend this hotel.

Hi. This will be our third time. Location is perfect. Sunbed allocation is brilliant and stress free. Hotel is spotless and the staff are amazing. Outdoor pool is brilliant and love the swim up bar. Rooms are clean and views incredible. Would give 5 star but they have taken away the happy hour! Why? One of the main reasons we booked was for this at the end of the day. Everyone got together and it created a fab hour to the end of the day. Bring it back please as that was a big tick when looking at all the hotels.

We are just leaving after another 2 week stay. As others have said, the rooms are a little dated, and could do with modernising/refurbishment. Some of the evening entertainment acts were poor, others were quite good. Housekeeping do an excellent job and our room was cleaned to a very high standard. The pools and outside areas also kept to a very high standard. The Italian and Pan Asian restaurants are a must visit - the food and service are excellent. Must mention Xenia and her team who ensure restaurant service runs very efficiently. We met up with friends and spent a good amount of time in Alexander’s bar, Maria is a credit to the hotel and makes the best cocktails. All in all we felt very valued as guests - nothing was too much trouble. We look forward to returning in September.

My wife and I stayed here from 20th to the 30th of may, we had an amazing time the staff are the most helpful and friendliest we encountered. Jordan the service manager was so friendly talking everyday to guests. We like how to choose a sun bed and use it the duration of the stay. The reception staff are friendly and accommodate any need or request, the food is so good so many selections at the buffet and had 3 times à la carte menu which were to a high quality. We certainly would go back there and recommend it without hesitation.
