Alexander The Great Beach Hotel

Everything clean and nice, great service, extremely helpful personel, next to the beach, indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, good breakfast.

The room with a "partial view" of the sea actually has view at the parking lot, you can see the sea very far away and just from one angle at the balcony...I would also prefer refillable shampoos etc., not the small packagings which are not very environmentally friendly.

The staff was friendly. They did seem to care about their guests and want the guests to have a good time. The poor quality of the hotel is not the fault of the customer-facing staff.

The room was dirty (dirty bathroom counter near sink, large spiderwebs hanging from the middle of the ceiling, obvious wear on furniture, etc). The "sea view" was actually a view of a sports court and a dumpster, but if you turned your head to look sideways off the porch (ground floor room) you could technically see the ocean. It felt like very deceptive marketing. I would not have paid for a sea-view room if I knew that's what I was going to get.

Our stay at Alexander The Great Beach Hotel was absolutely outstanding, and what truly made it special was the exceptional service we received from the moment we stepped out of our taxi on arrival to the moment we left for the airport. Every member of staff made us feel incredibly welcome and valued throughout our stay. We were travelling with our 2-year-old son, and although he seemed to be one of the youngest children there (most other children appeared to be older, and many guests seemed to be over 60), we never once felt uncomfortable. The staff and other guests were so kind and understanding, and we never felt like our son was a nuisance. The managers and staff were always helpful and accommodating, especially during moments when I was struggling with my toddler. Their patience and willingness to help really stood out. Housekeeping was also excellent — even bringing chocolates to our room each evening, which was such a lovely touch. The food was delicious, high quality, and consistently enjoyable throughout our stay. We would absolutely love to return to this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone considering staying here. It may be listed as a 4.5-star hotel, but in our opinion, it truly deserves an official 5-star rating.

We had such a wonderful stay: we couldn't have hoped for better. The staff were so warm & friendly & we were particularly impressed by Jordan the restaurant supervisor who made everyone feel special! We were on half board plus & every meal was lovely with plenty of choice. The Garibaldi restaurant was extra special! An experience! Our room had a balcony with a sea / marina view & we spent a lot of time on it! The room was cleaned daily to a high standard & toiletries were replenished daily too. Easy to access Kato Pafos from the hotel & both directions of the boardwalk are great if you're a walker

Garibaldi Restaurant a wonderful Restaurant in a great hotel. Had the 7 course taster menu, high quality food, at a remarkably reasonable price. Great service, great ambience, relaxed and efficient service from the Garibaldi staff.
