Location and grounds

In the rooms, there were many bugs and moths in the room, and spider webs and a pill was found in the bathroom floor. Rooms were tired. We needed a room change which was done the next day but overall disappointing for the price we paid for the two rooms we booked.

A really nice hotel, very good value - room price (Inc free cancellations) very good. The staff were very friendly. We had a large comfortable, very clean room. Our evening meal and breakfast were very nice. Access to really pleasant outdoor space, beautiful lawn sloping down to the lake edge.

The room was slightly dated, starting to show signs of needing an update. But I feel that the room price it is very good value.

"10/10 stay, can’t wait to stay again!"

It has so much history, it’s really interesting, it’s a stunning building in a stunning location, the grounds are incredible, the room was beautiful - clean and great size, fabulous choice for breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, great pool! Loved the amount available for children and how family friendly it was. So accommodating to every request and welcoming to our friends too! So grateful to have found a gem and can’t wait to stay again!

Couldn’t find any numbers on the nature trail and we stepped in dog poo (not the hotels fault, owners need to clean up after their dogs!)
