Super 8 by Wyndham Portsmouth - Norfolk

Before I got there the money had came out of account before I even checked in then asking for $50 deposit upfront too which I wasn’t expecting then the pool is closed and it was noisy it was really run down just wish I could get my money back cause it wasn’t worth over $100 a night

I unfortunately had to wait to check in almost two hours after the posted check in time. The headboard was dirty and the hotel (I ordered non-smoking) reeked of cigarettes. The pool was not open which was a surprise, and the TV was broken and didn't have a remote.

This motel was absolutely disgusting and scary. I ended up not staying bc it seemed too dangerous. I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH HOTELS.COM because of this experience. This hotel should be condemned!!

Our door stuck. The bathroom door was messed up and didn’t close all the way. The pool was not open if it’s not going be opened then why say u have a pool that was one of my main reasons for choosing there. The whole place needs lots of upgrades. Called the front desk because our tv would not work the guy showed up 30 minutes later by then I had all ready figured it out. We had a two night stay and was not offered extra towels. It just needs lots of upgrades.

The sheets were very old, dingy an worn. The a.c buttons didn't work. Bugs crawling around. They charge a 3 or 4 dollar hotel fee. The rooms are very over priced for the quality of the hotel.

The room was unsanitary. Blood on sheets & other body fluids. The bathroom were not clean, the shower curtain had mold on it. The towels were dirty (I bath my daughter & I with my hands ) !

It wasn’t very clean. The sheets and towels were clean, but stained. The check in was easy.

This place was super nasty and every room smelled like smoke. My son has asthma and can’t be in the room where everything smells like smoke. I told him unfortunately we cannot stay. He said I’ll have to call to get my refund. However when Travelocity tried to talk to him he refused to approve the requests. I hope someone sees this and never stays!

My friend and I booked a stay at a property to visit Virginia Beach. Upon check-in, we were given Room 228, which was dirty and not cleaned from the previous guests. The front desk offered us Room 203 after I showed her the issue, but it had a malfunctioning AC. Also, there was a poop in the toilet bowl in the bathroom. I requested a refund so we can leave since we cannot stay on that kind of place, but the front desk told me to contact Expedia. After speaking with Expedia, they claimed the front desk said we were just leaving because we didn't like the room, so they wouldn’t process a refund. The front desk staff was unhelpful and rude, ultimately asking us to leave without resolving the issues. We opted to leave, sent evidence to Expedia, and received our refund. We stayed at the Quality Inn instead and will never book Super 8 again.

I had to leave early bugs in room and bathroom bed bug bites all over myself and family no fresh towels police at the hotel every night
