Club Cascadas de Baja

Pleasant but very basic. Very quaint and adequate, but no T.V., internet was iffy in the room, no telephone in the room or alarm clock. I am a senior and there are many stairs, but they were kind enough to move me to a ground level room. Dark along the path and hard to locate and find my room. Overall, for the price, I was happy, and the restaurant was very accommodating and food had always been above average. Service good. Pool area very nice. Construction going on right now.

Beautiful resort, friendly staff overall great place to stay!

The most unique and beautiful resort in Los Cabos

The property is kept immaculately clean, and all the staff we've encountered have been very friendly. After my husband and I checked in, we found out that we were placed in a room that was right next to the construction that was going on at the property, and the noise was quite loud. We inquired about a room switch, and was informed that we needed to talk with the Sales office. Rory at the Sales office was very helpful, even though he was unable to switch us that night, we checked in with him again the next morning and he had already noted our request and had a room ready for us to move into. The room switch was painless, and we enjoyed the remainder of our stay much more thanks to the switch. Even though the hotel was kids friendly and there were many kids on the property, overall we enjoyed ourselves and thought we made the right decision picking this property over others that would've been adult-only, as on some days when we walked on the beach by other properties, the adult-only properties all had loud party music going, which we would've hated. Club Cascadas caters to the slightly older and more mature crowd, and it was great there was never any loud music going on at the property. The hotel is on the beach and has many palapas for guests to use, although if you go down a bit later in the morning most of them would have already been taken, so reserve them early. We dined at the hotel restaurant three times, also great service with decent food and nice ambiance.

We just got from a wonderful week and thoroughly enjoyed Club Cascadas de Baja! This resort is on the Sea of Cortez with a beautiful beach for you to enjoy. The staff is incredible - knowledgeable and always ready to help . Most of the clientele are owners (time-share) but were very welcoming to other guests. The resort is within walking distance to the marina and restaurants. This is an older and smaller resort which we enjoyed - it is in tip-top shape and we loved the more authentic and unique architecture. Our room had a/c and a full kitchen - the hot water was more like luke-warm but that didn't bother us. The hammock outside the front door was lovely and got used daily. Oh, and massages on the beach were a bargain - treat yourself to several! If we return to Cabo, we would love to stay here again.

The good stuff: Excellent location, away from the noise and congestion of central Medano Beach but only a 7-10 minute walk on the beach from it. Beautiful quiet grounds, two pools, one never very busy, beach front, right by the sailboat rentals, and a small beachfront restaurant, Tobascos Good hotel restaurant facing the beach. Spacious well equipped condo with extensive masonry and beautiful stone work No hard sell or even soft sell on time shares. The down side: our first condo faced a stone wall covering 85% of the balcony. After various excuses and 30 minutes of conversation, we were moved to another unit with maybe 50% stone wall and 50% tennis court views, definitely no pool or sea views. The lack of breeze from 3 1/2 sides of stone on the balcony, combined with the heat generating air conditioner compressor made the balcony unusable except in the very early morning if we turned off the air conditioner. While the hotel says there will be construction this year only during business hours, the loud noise continued 7 days 9-6. There is no potable water in the room either free or to purchase. We heard from other guests that bottles could be refilled at the spa free but apparently one has to ask for this information. We spent little time in our room and enjoyed the sailing, swimming, snorkeling

It was our first time staying in Cabo and club Cascade. I can say it was awesome to stay there. I travel a lot, this hotel is one of my favorite. Very cute, on the beach. I would definitely come back!!

Hotel room had way more amenities than expected, was very nice. Was right on the beach, hotel bar tender and waitress were fun! About a 20 minute walk into town, can also walk to the marina from the beach in front of the hotel.
