Ibis Sydney Olympic Park

Location is good, close to train station, licensed premises, and restaurants. Public areas were clean. Bar and restaurant on site. Staff very professional. Good size room, and view over Accor Stadium precinct. Comfortable room overall.

Parking was on a first come, first served basis, unable to pre-book/reserve a spot. Room generally clean, apart from stains on the carpet, and a thick layer of dust on the top edge of the bed-head. Rust on bottom of the door frame in the bathroom. Bed was too soft due to the addition of a thick mattress topper. Room smelt musty, as if it had been closed up for a while. Unable to open windows.

Car parking cost was a shock

Location was perfect for the concert that I went too. Room was very comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

There isn't too much to dislike about the Ibis, the only downer for me was leaving my headphones behind which was my own fault but being charged $120 to have them returned in an express bag that cost $19 - not so good!

How close to the event we were going to, the breakfast inclusion was great although I did pay for that

We had a room that was not made up, for the amount that was paid it was very underwhelming. We tried calling reception and our phone did not work so after getting dressed my husband had to go downstairs to get the problems in our room sorted. No compensation which was fine but yes for the price of 1 night you would think everything would have been in order. Also no power points with charger ports in them for our phones? You would think this day in age you would update power ports.
