Simones Hotel Fürstenhof

Was there for 2 nights on business. Parking is tight, as are the rooms / bathrooms. Smallest hotel room I've ever had, and I've had many. Quaint old building but can use some updating (hence the name "Romantik"). Breakfast was slightly below average for Germany. Was pleasantly surprised to find a/c in the room.

Pleasant hotel in nice town. About a 10 minutes walk into the old town. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel was a bit dated although that may have been what they were trying to do. Breakfast buffet was very good and the room was very quiet. Not very close to the alstadt area but it worked out well for us.

On our recent holiday roaming around Southern Germany we stayed 3 nights at the Romantik Hotel Fürstenhof, and really enjoyed it. All the staff were very friendly and certainly made our stay a pleasant one.

Staff went out of their way to be helpful - breakfast was included and had a large selection..

Professionally run, nice appointments ,very pleasant staff, free parking. Short drive to alt stadt. Very good breakfast.

We booked this hotel as our first stop off after landing at Munich airport before a driving tour of Bavaria. Landshut is a half hour's drive east of the airport. Ther hotel itself is very traditional and you are made to feel welcome. The rooms, though not large, are well furnished and equipped, with a modern bathroom. The centre of Landshut is 5 minutes walk away. After an early evening drink in town, we decided to take dinner in the hotel's restaurant and although this was not cheap, the quality and imagination of the menu coupled with excellent service from the three waitresses dressed in local costume made it a highlight of the holiday. Would really recommend it for a couple of any age wanting something a bit special for an evening. There was a car park at the rear of the hotel that seemed large enough to accomodate all guests in vehicles.

From the time we arrived to the time that we left the all aspects of the service we received at this hotel were outstanding - the staff (front desk, restaurant, breakfast) all excelled at the service that they delivered. Our room was on the top (second) floor and was comfortable, if small. There is no lift so suitcases, bags, etc have to be carried up the stairs but staff are very willing to help. We ate at the restaurant and this was an absolute delight - the experience was in line with what you would expect from a top quality restaurant. The food was very well presented and absolutely delicious, particularly the venison leg that we very moist and tender. At breakfast we were presented with a wide choice of options - fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, ham, cheese, a variety of breads, etc. Highly recommend.

Loved this hotel and the friendly, vibrant staff. Within walking distance to the lovely old center of the town and only about 30 minutes from the Munich Airport. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
