Denali Bluffs Hotel

Literally can’t get any closer to the entry of Denali NP. After long drive up from Anchorage and hours in Denali NP, great that we do close to hotel. One caution though if driving to hotel. They have EXTREMELY limited parking. Like 8 parking spots on top tier closest to hotel. Two other lower tiers down the hill. I ended up parking at bottom tier. So plan to drop your bags and not have to drag them up the hill. Our room was spacious and comfy with awesome views of surrounding area. Great black out curtains as it was never dark out during our stay. Comfortable bed. We ate at The Mountaineer, the onsite hotel. Service and food were good. Other than parking only other downside was walks were quite thin. You can hear when your neighbors are showering or talking. Little cafe on site in lobby to get breakfast. Was quite good. Traveling with my parents. They stayed in cheaper room. Did not have a balcony and had view of other cabins. You are in Alaska and at Denali NP. Pay extra. Get room with the view.

Couldn't make it to property due to fires. No one answered phones and no way to leave a message. I tried to communicate through Expedia, but no response.

Pefect place to stay if visiting Denali

Situated up on a mountainside this hotel offers magnificent views. The room was clean and the staff friendly. They have shuttle service to downtown and the visitor/railway station that runs every hour. There is a breakfast area with limited menu and it is basically cafeteria style. They either ran out of breakfast sandwiches or they had not been delivered one day that we stayed there. There is a full restaurant and bar in the lower part of the lobby building open in the afternoon and evening. The rooms can be difficult to get to especially if you have any limited mobility. Everything is either up or down with very little level ground. The highest level rooms have stairs to be climbed, no elevator. There is no safe in the room. You also have to be checked out of your room by 10am! Seems a little early. There is a laundry room but make sure to go to the front desk to purchase detergent. Over all it was a pleasant experience.

Possibly the most convenient lodging location to visit Denali National park. Has all the amenities to rest and relax at the end of the day

Kate at the front desk was awesome. She came and picked us up at the property across the street. She was super helpful with things to do around Denali. Ava at the bar was great. Overall the Denali Bluffs property was everything it needed to be.

There are pluses and minuses here… it’s in a great location, not too far from the park entrance. It’s pretty modern. However, the walls are paper thin and we heard people above us for hours one night — it was awful. The hot water in the shower fluctuates. And although our stay came with breakfast, what we got was a voucher for their takeout place. There were no healthy options, just premade breakfast sandwiches with meat, cheese, egg patties, etc. or a bagel. We patched together a meal with yogurt and a bagel, but being here four nights, it was really disappointing to eat only that for four mornings in a row.
