It’s got personality and I liked the old school feel To it , there were quirky decorations in the hall which made the place feel unique and the bed I stayed in the was possibly the most comfortable bed I’ve ever stayed in, in any hotel room. No issues , good value nice little place

Nothing bad in my opinion I stayed in York for a night and this place did the job

Cobwebs from the ceiling did not change. The bedding did not get clean towels. The windows were filthy did not empty the bin paint peeling of the ceiling silicon coming off the walls in the bathroom

Very spacious for a double room, bathroom facility’s were great in Prestine condition, kettle ect which is necessary, very clean room and hallway/stairs going up to our room

Could do with abit of extra lighting as fairly dim in some places

Staff really friendly and were able to sort any issues out if we had them. Room was lovely, tidy and warm which was great after the rain in York. Really good location and we would've walked into the centre if it wasn't for the weather so ideally placed

Having to go to the bathroom to fill up the kettle and having nowhere to keep drinks cold etc but that's only very minor and wouldn't stop me from staying again

Big room with a bathtub,car park is about 3mins walk 7 gbp per day. About 20mins walk to the town
