Buffalo Mountain Lodge

Queen beds were very comfortable.

Great hotel option, close to public transportation.

One of the best stays that you can find in banff. Everything was perfect and the room was gorgeous

Buffalo Mountain Lodge was a charming place to stay. I only wish we had booked it for multiple nights! The room had a fireplace and we enjoyed winding down the night in front of it. The order space overlooked Mount Rundle and was the perfect spot for a drink before dinner and a morning coffee. We did have dinner at the Prow and the food and service were great. We also had drinks at the bar after dinner and the bartender was attentive and great. We would love to stay here again sometime and highly recommend everyone to consider Buffalo Mountain Lodge. Even though it's outside of downtown Banff, the Roam transit bus is just a short walk from the hotel and can get you anywhere you want to go. We had previously stayed in downtown Banff and realized this location was a little more to our liking and less busy. Thanks for a great night in Banff!

The beds and the pull out sofa bed were comfortable. I liked that they texted us to check in and see if we needed anything. It was nice to have cleaning service each day as we needed it. Parking was packed- we had to pack aways from our place, that could be improved. Hot tub and bar on site was a plus.

We have been coming to this property regularly for the last 18 years and will be looking elsewhere in the future. They seem busy enough with the recent influx of tourists that they don't really need to keep people from nearby areas happy and coming back. The t/v and wifi wasn’t working and when we called the front desk they didn’t really seem to care. They offered an excuse and no offer to try to remedy the problem. The next morning when we checked out they shrugged it off. There are many new hotels in the area and we will be trying something new next time.

Water pressure was extremely low. And we constantly hear the noisy sound from some water pipes, don't know where it came from. A strange person knocked our door at 8:20am. Sofabed was sooo~ uncomfortable. Overrall, it is a mediocre hotel with bad value.
