Buffalo Mountain Lodge

Our first time to the Canadian Rockies and Banff, what a truly spectacular place! Everywhere you turn the glory of creation is shouting out to you! We enjoyed being able to walk a few steps and have amazing - endless views! Our room was perfect for us, with one, no two exceptions. First, parking is a bit cramped especially if you are driving a pick up truck but we were able to find a spot to squeeze it in. Second, we could hear the neighbors next to us talking and stomping around until 3 am. Likewise I imagine they could hear us as well. The food at the Prow was awesome too. We ate there two nights and had a great time sitting on the patio. We went into town for a dinner and it simply did not compare with the food at the Prow. Overall, a wonderful trip and stay at the Buffalo Mountain Lodge.

Really nice place and a clean room, I like the privacy u get in your separate building, its just great and I hope to be back again.

The room had a fireplace which we didn't use as it was too hot but was very nice and rustic with modern conveniences

Nice area however it reminds me of townhouses but are hotel rooms. Our room was in rough condition.

Disappointed in Buffalo Mountain Lodge facilities and accommodations. Expected more. The room we had did not look like the online photos and definitely needs an upgrade (703). Patio dirty/unusable. Furniture wornout. Wish I would have looked closer at the description to know they do not have air conditioning. Only 3 lounge chairs in the hot tub area. I could go on....Choose somewhere else to stay .

Had a brief 1 night stay to meet family so only experience lunch and accommodation Very nice room great food but honestly the staff made the visit - so helpful, very welcoming and pleasant, nothing was too much for any of the personnel we met. Thank you for a lovely visit - the scenery wasn't bad either!!

Staff was amazing

Liked: Room location was excellent with great views and close to Roam bus stop. Room was clean with high ceilings, fireplace and we enjoyed coffee on the balcony. Parking was great. Did Not Like: Front Desk staff and Restaurant hostess not friendly or helpful. Only one ice machine on campus. No washers or dryers.

Beautiful property, bring a power strip as outlets in the room are limited.

The only problem I had was I didn't want the coffee they have in the room and most hotels / resorts have coffee for free in there lobby or dinning area. When I went to get coffee from dining she didn't have a top for the take out coffee and of course trying to walk back to room most spilled. Also was charged for coffee...most everyone supplies free coffee especially at those rates....
