I like the access to the lake, the amenities for children and the pool.

I normally do not write reviews, but I feel like I need to share my experience because of how disappointed I was, especially considering the amount we paid for a weekend stay for two rooms. From the moment we arrived, there was a strong smoke odor throughout the casino, hallways, and even inside our room. I specifically requested a non-smoking room, yet the smell was overwhelming and the smell stayed on our clothes throughout our stay. It made the experience very unpleasant. The cleanliness of the room was also below expectations. The carpets appeared dirty, and the shower curtain, shower walls, and baseboards all needed attention. For the nightly rate charged, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance. In addition, the room was not adequately stocked with towels and basic hygiene products, which created unnecessary inconvenience during our stay. For the price of this hotel, guests should not have to request additional essentials. The bed and pillows are not too comfortable. Overall, this stay did not meet the standards I would expect for the cost. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again unless significant improvements are made to cleanliness, odor control, and guest amenities.
