Best Western Premier Heronston Hotel & Spa

First off, we were greeted by Harri on reception, who was amazing - not only was she professional and highly knowledgeable, she seemed genuinely happy to welcome us, the best customer service we've had in years! As for our stay, while we were initially disappointed that the pool was closed for renovations, the food in the restaurant more than made up for this. It was delicious and cooked to perfection - thank you! My wife and I will definitely be back again and next time we'll bring our walking gear on Harris recommendation (and hopefully swim gear too)!

Everything was lovely other than the attitude of the gentleman on reception at night very unpleasant, not helpful and somewhat rude. Very disappointed with this only. Been here many times and the rooms are lovely, clean and comfy but I feel this one staff member needs some customer service training.

Travelled to Bridgend for work and stayed at the Heronston - I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions before and am continually impressed by the service. The staff are all so friendly, helpful and make the stay a very pleasurable one.

Pros: The room was outstanding. I was in 13 … but don’t let that put you off … the room was beautiful. The bed was massive. The bathroom was lovely with a great hot and powerful shower. The check-in and out were smooth. Cons: I ate in the restaurant. It wasn’t great. There was just this sense that they were understaffed. I don’t blame the servers … they were nice as pie … it just wasn’t a nice experience. The food was poor, it is difficult to see how they could serve such poor quality food for the premium price that they charged. I think the leadership team need to have a meal at the restaurant (in disguise of course 🥸) and honestly tell me what they think! So, hotel and staff fantastic, eat elsewhere 🤓.

No mention on booking.com that the spa was being refurbished that was the main reason I booked

Friendly attentive staff. Modern clean bedroom and bathroom.

Paper thin wall as, someone's phone vibrating in the room next to me all night followed by being woken up abruptly by inconsiderate slamming and banging by catering delivery drivers at 6am in the morning directly outside my window.

Convenient location.

Spa yet again not open.

Fabulous room, dinner was so so, breakfast was lovely. Bit disappointed that the pool was closed as that was the reason I booked. If this was pointed out in the comms, apologies but it was not made clear till on the day. I would come back though
