Best Western Premier Heronston Hotel & Spa

The bedrooms were clean and the location was good.

The staff were not very helpful or friendly 😕. Tried to get a pint in the bar and noone was available to serve us at 6 o clock the evening. The hotel had told us sandwiches were available 24/7 but when we tried to order one they recommended we order a takeaway.

The Property has undergone a thorough refurbishment and everything is shiny and new. The pool and spa are yet to be completed. Great sized bedrooms and the breakfast was faultless. The only 'negative' if at all was the bar prices; we were charged £19 for a glass-sized bottle of prosecco and a pint. There's no need to charge London prices in Bridgend😛

Our visit was with a Groupon voucher . A bargain as the pool area closed and a lot of scaffolding outside for renovations. Staff welcoming very helpful, room comfortable and delicious evening meal and breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay, will definitely go again.

We love the Heronston and have supported it in many ways over the past years. We were disapointed with the restaurant but no blame to the lovely staff. Their efforts to provide my husband with his porridge was amazing. Because we had a later breakfast there was little choice and what remained was very cold and had obviously been dished up quite a while. On our last morning there was only very little cold scrambled egg quite upsetting since on our way down we past interview rooms where cooked breakfast was being served to the occupants. Our hopes were dashed when we eventually got down to the restaurant!! Lessons learnt. Get down to breakfast earlier. Make sure we have a ground floor room. My husband is diabled so we spent a lot of time walking the corridors as well opening and closing the fire doors Ithink it was 9 from the lift to toom 36!! Have bar food which seemed to be delivered quicker than the restaurant. We come to visit our daughter since we have moved to Warwickshire having previosly lived in Laleston. Come on Best Western! Once the alteraations are completed you will have a jewel in Bridgend. Make it shine. Pauline and Roy Long.

We didn't have breakfast as had to leave early. We did have an evening meal which was very nice.

The floor of our room was dirty and broken glass was scattered around it. I actually cut my foot on some and needed plasters so my partner went to reception and returned with the manager who filled out an accident form

Superb quality rooms, great bar and restaurant. Great staff, friendly and very helpful.
