Microtel Inn by Wyndham - Albany Airport

The room was clean and comfortable. It looks like they remodeled and put a decent amount of work into it. Overall the room was not bad

There were 0 elevators and the photos didn't exactly match what you got. The hotel was a little dingy but alright for the price comparatively. The biggest negative was that it's a no smoking hotel but the whole 2nd floor reeked of weed.

Great value in convenient location during our travels. Staff was good.

Breakfast was just enough to get by. My room was surprisingly clean and cool. I was content and satisfied. The location was not far from my event.

Noise on the corridor and from people getting about. Walls are too porous. Guess nothing can be done about that.

The toilet was FILTHY! The room did not match the online pictures. The staff was barely helpful. We asked twice for assistance with TV access and controls and never got it. We were told the "information booklet" in the room was out of date. When we asked for the updated information (for TV operation & channel access), we were told it was locked in the safe and only the manager could provide it--which was never done--not even an apologetic follow-up. After checkout, when we asked for help to look for an item that may have been left in the room, the manager (?) was barely helpful, "pointing" me to the cleaning staff area to help me reenter the room. When I could not locate the area, he reluctantly found someone in the breakfast room to let me in. There was never any hospitality shown to us as guests. The staff was really poor in their communication and were not helpful. They seemed very short-staffed.

Bed unclean with a bug and or crumbs when blanket was turned down to go to bed

I liked the vending machine in the hallway

The rooms were dirty and smelly with other peoples hair. This musty odor throughout the small room, the heating unit also was terrible, everything was just dirty and nasty. Had to move to another room and that one was dirt too! Other people’s stains on the mattress and towels. Just wow….
