Grandhotel Brno

Excellent location, across the main train and bus station. By foot to the center of the town. The hotel is nicely designed, the staff was very pleasant.

Clean but old, dated, and worn. Poor parking availability. Close to many pubs shops and restaurants.

An older large hotel across from the railway station, on the edge of the ‘old town’. Cross the street towards the railway station and you’re into a rundown, poor area. There are some homeless people milling about, although I didn’t feel unsafe. Unfortunately there is a casino as part of the hotel, with destitute local gamblers and ladies with very strong cheap perfume loitering. The room was small, the gym ok, and the breakfast good, staff polite.

This hotel seems to be in a state of renovation, and it's definitely needed. The furniture is old, the carpet is threadbare in some areas and the beds are very thin. The showers leaked all over the floor, the lights in the bathroom were unstable and would blink out. The lights in the hallway were also not on consistently, making for a very dark / unlit walkway. The fourth floor seems radically different than the rest of the hotel, so maybe try to stay there. On the plus side, the staff was nice, the included breakfast was buffet style and at least included hot food every day and the location of the hotel is super close to the tram line and main train station / bus station. Next time though, I will choose a different hotel. PS : The staff had no issue with me an English-only speaker and I appreciated that.

Just opposite the main train station, room was huge and with good sound proof and high ceiling.

Simple no frills hotel located in Central Brno. Located close to central district. Accomodations were basic and on par with a low entry cost room.

Nice hotel, great location right in the city centre. Great breakfast bar!

Surprisingly very well maintained hotel. Everything was OK.

Wifi too slow for business traveler std. I was unable to sync my laptop with the office which is usually a question of minutes.

Ideal location. Good amenities. Good breakfast but room decor a bit 1970s and breakfast staff had poor to zero English and not much German. Efficient helpful reception staff with good English
