Great location near the railway station and the city center, Huge rooms. Great value for money.

Excellent location across the street from train station and one of the places buses stop. The room was comfortable and breakfast was very good.

Best thing about this hotel is its location, it's across the street from the train station. The building is old but my room was comfortable and the buffet breakfast was good.

Fine old hotel close to train and bus stations. Short walk to restaurants and centre of city.

The staff are helpful and all speak perfect English, the facilities are on the whole good, and the location excellent, right opposite the main railway, bus and tram depots. It would have been a 5-star review apart from a few minor niggles: - I was in a single room, which was fine apart from the bed being rather confined - with it placed in a corner, with a wardrobe across the foot. It was like sleeping in an alcove - There was quite a bit of street noise in the room - not from the station and bus and tram depots - I was on the opposite side of the hotel, but from the club on the corner of the road behind the hotel. It got quiet a bit after midnight - I was there for a week and the restaurant was closed in the evening the whole time - but open for breakfast. Whilst there are plenty of restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance, on the first night particularly, when I arrived latish and not knowing the area - it would have been nice to have that option (they were serving food in the bar)

Stay was very satisfactory and comfortable reception was very friendly, the only downside was being misinformed about the breakfast which was very disappointing for the money... I would book this again without a doubt but would not have breakfast.

Just a quick weekend away visiting the City

Couldn’t fault my stay here. Double room was a good size, lovely and clean. Location very handy in the middle of the town directly opposite the train station. Staff were very warm and friendly. Would definitely stay again :)

Excellent location being close to the train and bus station. Also walking distance to shopping areas. Decor in room and hallways very dated and tired. As is the hotel exterior. Our room on the 1st floor was very noisy from people in the street outside. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of variety.
