The listing says breakfast was included but there is no breakfast. If you aren’t going to have breakfast remove it from the description.
The outside door to the hotel should have been locked and entry should have been via card holder. But as I understood they were not.
This property is very well kept and very clean inside. It is a bit modest on the exterior but the staff was very friendly! Due to recent economics, breakfast is not available but we were informed prior to checking in and offered a cash refund for part of our reservation when we chose to stay. We chose not to take the refund but still we’re very pleased with our accommodations. Don’t miss PaPa Ts a mile up the road for the best pizza and home smoked barbecue!
The facility itself was very nice. Comfortable and clean. We did have a cockroach in the room that was reported immediately and per the manager a thorough inspection of room was conducted. I have used Expedia for years and never ran into someone that made me feel less welcome due to our use of Expedia. The practices there are questionable. I was asked to sign a paper to verify the credit card on the paper wasn't mine???? Then get attitude when I asked about this questionable practice!?!? I have always been very happy with the facilities I've stayed at, but I will never stay at this place again. I'd be happy to give a full account of what happened. Feel free to contact me via email

Above expectation for a lower end motel. Very comfortable beds. Well-appointed rooms. Only reason for not giving all top rating is that right now they do not serve breakfast.
We stayed one night to visit family that were staying on Cuba lake. It was convenient and close Everything was very clean and comfortable. It was quiet and provided all we needed. They even brought a breakfast to go bag before we turned in for night for the next day
USWent back to visit friends and relatives. Stayed there last fall to rescue a pup in Friendship. This visit my 2 dogs stayed with us overnight. Room 110 was great. Owner is as well. Very quiet location even if located just off from 86. Friendly people that loved dogs. This is do not miss location that is pet friendly.
USOMG. Let's start with the good. It's a short list. The room was clean and quiet. Easy to find off the highway. Bed was fine. The bad. This is an old motel, probably from the 80's and it looks like it. Think Mom and Pop style. My room looked like I was staying in someone's spare bedroom. One ceiling light. Personal care items-not Econolodge branded-scattered throughout. No closet or rack to hang clothes. No coffee maker or even cup in the room to use for drinking. Tiny TV. Did I mention that I had to kill a wasp as soon as I checked in? The pictures on the web site must be from some other Econolodge. Check in for some unknown reason took very long. The guys at the desk seemed kind of clueless. And the worst part? NO BREAKFAST and NO COFFEE! I got no explanation why and was handed a bag with an apple, granola bar, yogurt and a pop tart! I hope the company that paid for this gets a refund. If I was paying I would insist on one! Unless you are desperate avoid this place.
