Mourne Country House

Excellent location, Gareth and Emma made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble, even recommended somewhere local for our evening meal. The breakfast was very well cooked and presented and loads to choose from . When Gareth greeted us at the door with his adorable daughter, the entrance way was wow with the beautiful wooden staircase, the whole property is too a very high standard.

Nothing everything was absolutely amazing

Extremely friendly welcome throughout the stay. Gareth was a super host. Everything was perfect from the room, the house, the garden and the food.

Never been to Kilkeel before and only found this wee gem by chance, glad we did ..pictures on here really don't do it justice.. check out the quality of the whole package and be impressed.. greeted with a welcome handshake at the door fr Gareth and it's as though we had stayed there often. immaculate is the least standard the place offers..breakfast was beautiful in an adorable setting..made especially quaint with Faith the little helper ( Gareth & Emma's wee daughter) definitely a big yes to a return visit ..thanks you 3 .. Absolutely nothing

Very quiet location with beautiful views. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation and breakfast was outstanding. We would stay here again.

Lovely, homely feeling B&B with fabulous, attentive hosts. Our room was very comfortable, with everything we needed for a couple of nights. We were here hiking in the Mournes, and the hosts offered baked muffins, fruit and water for our days outings. But, honestly breakfast sets you up for the whole day and Gareth is knowledgeable for good eateries for dinner! This is a cracking little B&B folks, faultless. Great location for us walkers, lovely hosts and spotless accommodation. Food offered here is just the real icing on the cake to set you off on your good day.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to stay here. This was our favorite stay of our entire trip. The rooms were great, the views were amazing, food was delicious, and above all the hospitality was some of the best we've ever had. Can't wait to stay here again!

This is the second time I have stayed here and loved it just as much as the first time, maybe even more which I didn’t think was possible. Amazing place, beautiful views and run by a super friendly and welcoming family, what’s not to love!
